Responsibilities
  • Serve as the corporate compliance subject matter expert for the Home Lending Origination line of business.
  • Provide support to Mortgage and Home Equity Origination lines of business by researching, interpreting, and assisting with applying assigned laws and regulations to applicable processes and systems.
  • Provide consultative compliance advice to applicable lines of business.
  • Perform second line of defense oversight and monitoring of processes and controls.
  • Identify improvements and facilitate necessary changes.
  • Document testing results in concise management reports and escalate significant risks.
  • Review policies and procedures for consistency with current banking and securities regulations.
  • Educate stakeholders and provide consultative advice on various regulations.
  • Provide independent review and challenge to business activities.
  • Participate in projects related to mitigating risk to Key.
  • Ensure systems used by lines of business function in a compliant manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • CRCM certification is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in compliance, auditing, or risk management are preferred.

Cardinal Infrastructure secures $250M delayed draw term loan and boosts revolving credit to $100M

Cardinal Infrastructure Group's construction subsidiary, Cardinal Civil Contracting, has secured a $250 million delayed draw term loan facility and expanded its revolving credit line from $75 million to $100 million through a Second Amendment to its Credit Agreement with Truist Bank. The delayed draw facility can be accessed in up to five separate advances over 18 months from the 10 September 2026 effective date. The amendment requires the borrower to maintain a Consolidated Total Net Leverage Ratio of no greater than 1.60 to 1.0 and Consolidated EBITDA of at least $125 million for the twelve months ended 30 June 2026. The expanded credit capacity provides Cardinal Infrastructure significant liquidity for potential acquisitions, project investments, or operational needs. The lending syndicate includes Truist Bank, First Horizon Bank, KeyBank, Regions Bank, and other financial institutions.

KeyCorp shares fall 6.6% after Q2 results, OFG Bancorp rises 5.4%

KeyCorp reported second-quarter revenues of $1.96 billion, up 6.7% year-on-year, meeting analyst expectations. However, the regional bank missed net interest income estimates. The market reacted negatively, with shares falling 6.6% following the results to trade at $21.78. The 94 regional banks tracked reported mixed second-quarter results. As a group, revenues were in line with analyst consensus estimates. Regional bank stocks have declined on average 1.7% since their latest earnings announcements. OFG Bancorp emerged as the best performer, reporting revenues of $190.3 million, up 4.4% year-on-year and beating expectations by 3.9%. The Puerto Rico-focused bank beat both earnings per share and net interest income estimates. Its shares rose 5.4% post-results to $52.71. Regional banks face challenges from fintech competition, deposit outflows, and commercial real estate exposure.

KeyCorp appoints Chris Doll as chief strategy officer and deputy CFO

KeyCorp has appointed Chris Doll as Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, effective 31 August 2026. Doll joins from City National Bank, a Royal Bank of Canada subsidiary, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO. He previously held leadership positions at Fifth Third Bancorp, Omnicare, and First Financial Bancorp. In his new role, Doll will lead KeyCorp's corporate strategy team and serve on the finance leadership team and executive council, reporting to CFO Clark Khayat. KeyCorp is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with approximately $191 billion in assets as of 30 June 2026. The bank operates around 950 branches across 15 states.
