Weâre on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful Greencross Cannington team!

Our clinic is coâlocated within a busy Petbarn retail store, giving us access to a highly engaged community of pet owners and a steady, diverse caseload. About your new role
This is a partâtime position, offering a great balance between work and life. Your dayâtoâday will include:
- Delivering personalised, compassionate care to our patients and their owners
- Caring for, handling, and cleaning animals
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the clinic, including surgical areas and equipment
- Performing general nursing duties such as preâ and postâoperative care, pathology, anaesthetic monitoring, and assisting with emergency and critical care cases
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries in person and over the phone, booking appointments, managing accounts, and admitting and discharging patients

Remuneration
We recognise the value that experienced and highly qualified nurses bring to the team. We offer competitive hourly rates, with higher pay available for nurses who hold advanced registration with the Veterinary Practice Board and bring a strong, demonstrated clinical skillset. Weâre happy to have open conversations to ensure your pay reflects your experience and contribution.
About you
Weâd love to hear from you if you have:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- 2+ yearsâ experience in a veterinary nursing role
- Excellent animal handling skills
- A strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Good organisational, communication, and customer service skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach and enjoy working as part of a team
- Experience with Rx Works (ideal but not essential)
