Requirements
  • Advanced degree in related creative field (design, advertising, etc.).
  • 10 years minimum professional experience at an in-house team or creative agency.
  • 4+ years experience managing designers, including brand, motion, and web design.
  • Proven experience developing and articulating corporate brand strategy, translating this into world-leading marketing communications and brand experiences.
  • Extensive experience working with external agencies and design vendors from RFP to delivery.
  • A strategic design portfolio that clearly demonstrates your design process from ideation to implementation.
  • Possess a profound understanding of visual design principles, encompassing layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Embrace a relentless curiosity and a keen eagerness to collaborate, continuously learn, and evolve professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Manage, inspire, and guide a team of designers to deliver impactful marketing creative and continuously grow in their careers
  • Oversee creative workflows, programs, and top-level initiatives to deliver high-bar and impactful creative marketing assets, while balancing business needs with technical and creative constraints
  • Coordinate and contribute to strategic creative briefs, defining a top-level creative vision and/or prompts which drive strategic creative concepts, interpret and clarify stakeholder feedback, direct appropriate creative revisions, and oversee delivery of final creative assets
  • Succinctly and professionally present to senior leadership, stakeholders, and organizations
  • Maintain and share up-to-date expertise and creative best-practices across major touchpoints, relevant to both brand and company objectives.
  • Intentionally work to force multiply their impact, building repeatable mechanisms, universal frameworks and tools to be utilized across the creative team and marketing org.
  • Manage and strategically iterate creative approaches, continually elevating creative output across the team.
  • Actively manage career development of the team, including defining and tracking quarterly goals and mentoring through various stages of career progression.
  • Provide continuous and immediate feedback to direct reports and team through regular check-ins, feedback, coaching, and training.
