  • Graduation from an NLN-accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • A current New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers is required.
  • Certain specialties may require advanced certification, such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Neonatal Advanced Life Support, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Supervise and provide care to assigned patients using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
  • Follow established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate openly with internal customers and supervisors.
  • Interface with staff, management, and physicians while providing customer service.
  • Apply Cooper core values.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year or more of acute care experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
