Requirements
  • 7+ years of related procurement and indirect sourcing experience. i.e. Leading complex RFx, negotiating with large, multi-national suppliers.
  • 4+ years experience with eSourcing Technologies- ScoutRFP, Ariba Procurement Suite and some experience with SAP Fieldglass.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required with an analytical or strategic focus (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, etc.) and/or Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management and/or relevant industry certification(s) preferred.
  • Project Management Certification is a strong plus.
  • Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills. Tableau skills highly preferred.
  • Experience working in start-up environment. GPS is going through a large-scale transformation and will move from start up to world class in a short span.
Responsibilities
  • Project management: Utilizing standard project management tools and summary documents to track and communicate status of projects
  • Supplier management: Identifying and evaluating suppliers, and managing supplier relationships
  • Market research: Conducting market research and creating cost estimates and forecasts
  • Procurement: Developing policies and schedules for regular procurements, and analyzing and calculating procurement costs
  • Risk management: Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques
  • BPO partner management: Consolidating feedback on BPO performance
  • Oversee the execution of all RFx processes
  • Partner with Global Sourcing & Procurement leaders to provide RFX insights
  • Support the transformation of Sourcing value proposition through training, hiring, development of templates and implementation of best practices.
  • Leverage available tools and study trends utilizing market intelligence and industry research to identify and solve potential high value problems, and continually seek new opportunities for innovation for your category.
  • Support the business in spend management projects that accomplish key objectives like savings, process effectiveness, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved visibility and control of expenditures.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers, Budget owners, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, InfoSec to ensure appropriate review, approvals, transactions and according documentation is in order to support compliance and due diligence while developing and standardizing business processes to improve scalability and sustainability.
