About the Job

Requirements

  • A Master's degree with at least 13 years of experience, or a PhD with at least 10 years of industry experience, in a relevant engineering or physical-science field such as Semiconductor Process Integration, Device Engineering, or Wafer Yield Engineering.
  • English proficiency, including the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.
  • A proven track record in yield pareto construction, modeling, projection, and developing long-term yield roadmaps.
  • Experience using PDF Exensio or other big data analysis tools.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with foundries.
  • Experience porting processes between fabs.
  • Expertise interpreting complex product data, including inline, e-test, and SORT data, to drive organization-wide solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor wafer inline inspection methods and SORT programs.
  • Deep knowledge of semiconductor device reliability.
  • Knowledge and experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) techniques and process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
  • Experience supporting semiconductor wafer fulfillment for products that must meet Automotive AEC_Q100 and ISO 26262 standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and promptly both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail, project management, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead foundry yield improvement by mitigating systematic and parametric yield detractors.
  • Manage foundry yield excursions and implement the Continuous Improvement Plan.
  • Manage foundry safe launch.
  • Provide technical guidance on foundry fab transfer projects.
  • During development, direct wafer lot progress, process skew splits, and design of experiments (DOE) strategies.
  • Support device performance analysis for mixed-signal devices.
  • Manage compliance with fab yield, E-test, WAT, and inline Cp/CpK metrics.
  • Serve as the technical liaison to foundries; communicate process health monitor status to internal stakeholders; drive on-time wafer out from the fab, continuous improvement deliverables, and resolution of critical technical escalations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML predictive modeling to improve projection accuracy for test chips and high-volume products, including correlating inline process metrics with end-of-line yield and performance.
  • Knowledge and experience in RF semiconductor device modeling.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin.
  • Strong leadership and ability to set standards and drive to targets.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with urgency and accountability.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

About the Company

SiTime

Fabless MEMS timing solutions provider

SiTime designs MEMS-based timing solutions (oscillators, network synchronizers, and jitter cleaners) as a fabless semiconductor company. MEMS resonators on silicon replace quartz to generate precise clocks and synchronize networks, with manufacturing handled by third-party foundries. The approach offers smaller size, lower power consumption, and better temperature stability, supported by scalable, design-focused development rather than in-house fabrication. Its goal is to expand MEMS timing adoption across automotive, industrial, IoT, mobile, aerospace, and telecom markets worldwide.
