Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Good understanding of general business principles and HR practices
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations
  • Knowledge of employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS such as Paylocity and other HR tools
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members, preferred
  • Experience working in a technical environment, preferred
Responsibilities
  • Assist with oversight and management of day-to-day team member projects
  • Oversee employment law compliance and internal audits
  • Lead employee engagement committee and execute engagement events
  • Lead employee communications and collaborate with marketing specialists
  • Advise the Safety Committee
  • Provide improvement insights for recruiting strategies
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting on compensation processes
  • Support larger initiatives including performance management and leadership development
  • Participate in special projects related to organizational HR business strategies
  • Co-manage the HRIS/HCM system and provide backup payroll support
  • Manage employee relations issues and escalate to senior management
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors or third-party entities
  • Streamline department processes, policies, and procedures
