Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or a General Educational Development program.
  • One (1) year of work related experience in operating a small bus or similar type vehicle for transporting passengers and supplies, or fifteen (15) hours from an accredited college or university in a job related field of study, or a combination of the two.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, with a good driving record.
  • Based on the location, the incumbent may be required to pass an extensive background investigation.
  • Mandatory drug testing prior to employment and the incumbent will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment.
  • Physical requirements include the possibility of lifting in excess of 50 pounds with assistance, and the ability to travel to various work site locations.
Responsibilities
  • Operates a small bus, pick-up truck or other applicable small vehicle to transport clients, supplies, equipment, mail and other materials.
  • Loads/unloads and conducts inventory and maintains records of transported items.
  • Performs preventive maintenance checks and services on vehicles, including checking oil and gas levels, tire pressure, cleaning and other related services.
  • Assists office personnel in routine support tasks as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
