Requirements
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ.
  • Have recognized oncology training in chemotherapy administration or oncology care.
  • Demonstrate technical rigor, empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, follow, and monitor patients with cancer or hematological conditions.
  • Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other systemic treatments according to orders and applicable standards.
  • Manage, assess, and relieve side effects related to oncology treatments.
  • Provide psychological support, education, and compassionate guidance to patients and their close relations.
  • Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, including oncologists, pharmacists, and patient navigators, to ensure continuity and safety of care.
