Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Two million customers worldwide give Yepoda a large repeat-purchase base before U.S. scale.
  • 2024 profitable growth and 120% revenue growth support strong product-market fit.
  • Italy and Spain Sephora traction, plus summer pop-ups, deepen brand awareness across Europe.

What critics are saying

  • Sephora US launch on August 11, 2026 concentrates growth expectations into one retailer gatekeeper.
  • Retail still contributes only 10% of revenue, leaving heavy dependence on DTC economics.
  • If U.S. sell-through disappoints, expansion capital from Verlinvest and JamJar loses its growth thesis.

What makes Yepoda unique

  • 2026 Sephora US launch follows 2025 Sephora Europe rollout, proving omnichannel execution.
  • Yepoda combines B Corp certification, 60% refillable products, and guided routines for sustainability-led loyalty.
  • Its European K-beauty positioning and color-coded education simplify Korean skincare for mainstream buyers.
