What believers are saying

  • H1 2026 revenue reached $9.1 million, up 184%, and EBITDA turned positive.
  • Electrum operated 14,000 motorcycles and 550 swap stations by June 2026.
  • ADB, DBS, and Mandiri financing in 2024-2026 funds bike sales and station expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Electrum still depends on TOBA and lenders; the USD23 million facility signals strain.
  • Indonesia’s subsidy rules and TKDN thresholds can slash demand if policy shifts in 2026.
  • GoTo or TBS could deprioritize Electrum; ecosystem unit economics collapse without continued capital.

What makes Electrum unique

  • Electrum controls motorcycles, battery swaps, IoT, and rent-to-own in one ecosystem.
  • Its swap network targets fleet uptime, not just consumer ownership economics.
  • GoTo and TBS give Electrum distribution, capital access, and Indonesian policy credibility.
