Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of benefits administration experience with mid-size or large, multi-province benefit plans
  • Experience configuring benefit plans in HRIS
  • Experience with leaves and benefits administration systems and HRIS
  • Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial regulations related to employee benefit programs
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Benefits operations administration
  • Time Off & Leaves operations administration
  • Responding to inquiries in Benefits and Leaves email inboxes
  • Processing employee benefits events and maintaining benefits data
  • Recording and tracking leaves in HRIS
  • Conducting testing and auditing in HRIS and vendor systems
  • Conducting new hire benefits orientation
  • Coordinating webinars presented by vendors
  • Providing administrative and ad-hoc project support to Benefits team
