Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the distinction between Generative AI and Agentic AI, including their foundations, capabilities, and appropriate use cases.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language model concepts, including prompt engineering, prompt grounding, iterative loop techniques, context windows, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI capabilities into low-code automation flows and high-code stacks, including applications, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and development or testing tools.
  • Hands-on coding experience in one or more engineering ecosystems such as .NET with C#, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-experts and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to contribute to AI literacy and AI fluency documentation.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including governance, bias mitigation, compliance, and risk-based decision-making.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor developers and testers and drive innovation across engineering, quality assurance, and architecture.
  • Ability to assess AI-enabled capabilities in third-party SaaS platforms such as Appian and Salesforce and provide guidance on responsible, effective adoption.
  • At least 5 years of development experience across APIs, integrations, microservices, or full-stack development.
  • Demonstrated real-world experience supported by a portfolio of work highlighting applied skills, solution delivery, and measurable impact, including personal or open-source AI projects where applicable.
  • Solid experience integrating AI into workflows and systems across low-code and high-code platforms.
  • Hands-on use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code and autonomous software engineering agents.
  • Exposure to retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, embeddings, and AI retrieval systems.
  • Experience working with cloud AI services and orchestrating AI agents.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS in highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Extensive experience with source control and version management systems.
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI-enabled solutions using production-quality code and rapid experimental prototypes.
  • Develop and implement AI-enabled microservices, APIs, applications, and internal tools.
  • Integrate AI capabilities using secure, scalable engineering practices.
  • Design, build, and validate AI-driven solutions leveraging providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Enhance low-code and no-code automation platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, and Workato by embedding intelligent processing and applying agentic patterns where relevant.
  • Implement Model Context Protocol servers for secure AI-to-system connectivity.
  • Lead AI-based document parsing and intelligent data extraction initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and best practices to Enterprise Capabilities areas, including Integration and Automation.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, constraints, and key drivers and implement high-value AI opportunities.
  • Prototype AI features and iterate them toward production-ready capabilities.
  • Build agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and Microsoft Agent Framework.
  • Implement AI agents with tool integration, memory, context control, and guardrails.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented workflows to improve context, reliability, and performance.
  • Perform quality assurance on AI outputs through AI observability practices, including monitoring model behavior, detecting anomalies, and ensuring visibility into AI performance and reliability.
  • Determine when traditional deterministic solutions are safer, simpler, or more cost-effective than AI.
  • Ensure AI-enabled solutions account for total cost of ownership, including token consumption, performance, observability, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Mentor technical and non-technical staff, including citizen developers, to strengthen AI fluency.
  • Act as an AI subject matter expert for engineering, testing, architecture, and business teams by delivering demonstrations, internal enablement, and reference documentation.
  • Develop internal best practices for prompt engineering, AI-processed data handling, AI-assisted coding, custom agents, and responsible AI usage.
  • Contribute to AI governance, ethics, compliance, and risk-control activities.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, security policies, data governance standards, human-in-the-loop controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and mitigate AI risks, raise concerns early, and recommend remedial actions.
  • Lead the design and documentation of AI-enabled solutions, contributing to Solution In Principle or Solution Architecture Design documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams throughout project lifecycles to guide AI-enabled solutions and address technical challenges.

Waystone to support Mackenzie Investments UCTIS fund structure. 27 May 2026 Canada Reporter: Zarah Choudhary Waystone is supporting the launch of a new Luxembourg-based Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) structure for Mackenzie Investments' Quantitative Emerging Markets Large Cap Strategy. The strategy has been launched through Waystone's UCITS hosting platform in Luxembourg and will be made available to investors in selected European markets and the United Kingdom. Waystone is providing governance, administration, risk, and compliance services for the fund structure as part of the partnership. According to the firms, the launch reflects growing institutional demand for quantitative investment strategies and expanded access to European distribution channels through UCITS structures. The Mackenzie Quantitative Emerging Markets Large Cap UCITS provides exposure to large and mid-cap equities across emerging and frontier markets. Waystone Acquires BIL Manage Invest

Waystone has completed its acquisition of BIL Manage Invest from the BIL Group after receiving regulatory approval from the CSSF. This acquisition will increase Waystone's Luxembourg Management Company's assets under management by approximately 15% and strengthen its market position and capabilities across Europe.
