- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

- Diagnose and analyze problems using a variety of test equipment.
- Document test findings and identify, diagnose, and analyze problems using test equipment.
- Provide input for process improvements and development of top-level test procedures.
- Ensure correct functionality of units under test and test equipment.
- Identify discrepancies during testing.
- Collaborate with functional groups on various projects.
- Maintain accurate records, complete logs accurately, and explain defects clearly and concisely.
- An associate degree in electronics or an equivalent technical degree.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope.
- Experience with environmental testing and product monitoring.
- Working knowledge of statistical process control as applied to assembly, inspection, and test processes.
- Working knowledge of electronic theory relating to analog and digital circuits.

- Advanced experience with signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers.

September 9 2026 Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) and EGYPTAIR have announced the signing of an agreement for a Reality7e Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator, continuing a working relationship that spans almost 25 years. The new device will be the EGYPTAIR Training Academy's second A320neo Full Flight Simulator, adding capacity for A320-family type rating, recurrent and command upgrade training at its Cairo International Airport campus. In expanding the academy's simulator inventory, EGYPTAIR strengthens its service offering for customers in the region. ASL Australia signs preferred supplier agreement with Acron Aviation for Boeing 737 pilot training. September 2 2026 Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) has strengthened its relationship with ASL Airlines Australia following the signing of a preferred supplier agreement to deliver Boeing 737 Type Rating training through to the end of 2028. The multi-year agreement builds on the successful delivery of Boeing 737 Type Rating training for ASL Airlines Australia pilots at CTS' London Training Centre in the first half of 2026. The agreement also includes a provision for pilots that need to complete Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) training. As part of the partnership, CTS has worked closely with ASL Airlines Australia to further tailor its Type Rating training by completing a standardisation programme that incorporates the airline's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into the course.
