  • Build strong relationships across product, engineering, design, analytics, finance, risk, and partner teams, influencing outcomes without direct authority.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with order management systems, reservation platforms, travel or hospitality commerce, marketplaces, or other high-volume transactional products.

  • Familiarity with observability, telemetry, incident management, platform health, cloud economics, or cost optimization.
  • Software engineering, systems architecture, computer science, or another technical background.
  • Experience working with global products across brands, lines of business, markets, currencies, regulatory environments, or customer segments.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment balancing customer value, commercial outcomes, platform health, and delivery constraints.
  • MBA or equivalent business education.

About the Company

Expedia Group

Runs travel booking sites for people and companies

Expedia Group runs online travel brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo, where people book hotels, vacation homes, flights, and rental cars, and it supplies the same travel to other companies. Its Expedia site was one of the first online travel agencies, letting people compare and book flights and hotels on the web without calling a travel agent. Travelers search and pay through its apps and websites, while partners such as airlines and banks plug its hotel and flight listings into their own booking sites. Expedia earns commissions and markups on bookings and sells advertising to hotels and other travel companies. It began in 1996 as a division of Microsoft and is based in Seattle, Washington.
