Responsibilities
  • Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
  • Successfully complete all site-specific training regarding safety and quality
  • Receive components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
  • Assemble mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
  • Assemble all variations of in-house standard products
  • Follow assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping
  • Use simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
  • Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site
  • Complete required documentation relative to production and quality
  • Drive continuous improvement process and conduct daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
  • Read and interpret blueprints (product specific)
  • Maintain equipment and area in a clean safe condition
