Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a technical finance-adjacent role.
  • Daily experience using an AI coding assistant as a primary development tool.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including common table expressions and window functions.
  • Experience shipping multiple Python applications used by end users, including at least one actively maintained in production.
  • Experience working in Git, including pull requests, branches, and code review.
  • Familiarity with fiscal year concepts and core revenue metrics, including annual recurring revenue, bookings, and net revenue retention.
  • Experience writing structured prompts and authoring reusable skills using YAML and Markdown or an equivalent format.
  • Understanding of bronze, silver, and gold data models, semantic layers, model versioning, SQL-generation accuracy evaluation, verified query libraries, and feedback-driven iteration.
  • Experience with caching, session state, clean multi-page application structure, and agent orchestration systems with parallel-agent patterns and synthesis layers.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Tax leadership to transform compliance, risk identification, and global reporting processes into automated AI-first workflows using CoCo and CoWork.
  • Write and iterate on prompt and skill structures based on output quality and stakeholder feedback.
  • Build a unified tax data and knowledge layer by transforming fragmented data sources into clean, reconciled datasets and encoding tax laws, internal playbooks, and regulatory updates.
  • Support risk assessment models and compliance reporting pipelines.
  • Own semantic layers end to end, including model design, versioning strategy, verified query coverage, and accuracy iteration based on evaluation metrics.
  • Develop and deploy production tax dashboards as Streamlit applications locally and in Snowflake.
  • Build customer-facing demo applications for Sales and Field teams.
  • Apply reusable component patterns and shared utility libraries for consistent user interfaces.
  • Participate in tax filing cycles by automating tax filings, data reconciliation, and audit-ready reporting.
  • Build and maintain source-of-truth reporting exports, including multi-tab Excel workbooks formatted to specification.
  • Support ad hoc disclosure and tax audit data needs.
  • Take ownership of tax compliance and risk analysis workflows so they run correctly on schedule without hand-holding.
  • Ship at least one Streamlit application to production or a demo application to the Tax leadership team within the first 90 days.
  • Contribute a module, skill, or shared component to the team's shared infrastructure for use by other analysts.
  • Build shared infrastructure that makes the Finance Analytics team faster and encode recurring work into reusable agents.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake Cortex, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, AI_SUMMARIZE, AI_EXTRACT, Dynamic Tables, or semantic views.
  • Prior experience deploying agents, authoring skill files, or working within the Snowflake Intelligence ecosystem using SnowWork or CoCo.
  • Finance literacy, including reading a revenue waterfall, distinguishing annual recurring revenue from net revenue retention, and explaining quarter-over-quarter changes in product revenue.
  • Experience with reporting automation using openpyxl, multi-tab Excel exports formatted to specification, and named ranges.
  • Experience authoring dbt models, using ref() patterns, and writing YAML tests in a cloud data warehouse context.
  • Experience with semantic search, vector similarity, embedding-based retrieval, and natural-language analytics.

Snowflake's product revenue set to hit $8B in fiscal 2028 after third straight quarter of accelerating growth
