About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience building go-to-market work in growth engineering, marketing operations, technical content, revenue operations, or a founder role.
  • Provide a writing sample that a technical audience has read; demonstrate the ability to evaluate writing quality.
  • Build multi-step large language model pipelines with structured outputs and evaluations, and demonstrate prompt engineering expertise.
  • Use Python or TypeScript, APIs, webhooks, and databases autonomously to build solutions without waiting on an engineer.
  • Identify constraints and build workflows rather than repeatedly performing manual tasks.
  • Demonstrate sufficient data fluency to discuss data pipelines, dbt, and data warehouses.
  • Work independently in a distributed, asynchronous team across 12 or more countries.
  • Be fluent in English.
Responsibilities
  • Build the content engine end to end, including ingestion, theme extraction, drafting, evaluations, and review.
  • Create content, including webinars and product videos.
  • Own and grow the audience.
  • Build the engine to reflect the distinct writing styles of the team rather than sounding like a model.
  • Make content quality measurable.
  • Own reach, engagement, and pipeline-influence metrics, and discontinue approaches that do not work.
  • Contribute to the rest of the Growth stack as constraints change.
  • Work directly with founders, customers, and customer engineers to improve how Soda communicates about the category.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing or growth in data, developer tools, or infrastructure.
  • Experience growing a technical audience through a newsletter, blog, LinkedIn, or open source.
  • Experience building agentic workflows, such as MCP servers, Claude skills, or tool-using agents shipped to real users.
  • Experience in data quality, data management, or data observability.
