The Ritz-Carlton checks into Bloomingdale's this fall.

The Ritz-Carlton checks into Bloomingdale's this fall. What happens when one of the world's best-known luxury hotel brands checks into one of New York's most iconic department stores? For six weeks this fall, shoppers can find out at Hotel Bloomingdale's, a new collaboration between The Ritz-Carlton and Bloomingdale's. Running September 10 through October 19 at Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship, the immersive experience translates the world of The Ritz-Carlton into a retail setting, with fashion, beauty, wellness, travel, dining and lifestyle offerings arranged around the rituals of a luxury hotel stay. Rather than simply putting a Ritz-Carlton logo on a collection of merchandise, the collaboration creates an entire hotel-inspired destination inside the store. Check In to the Ritz-Carlton Experience At the center of Hotel Bloomingdale's is a retail carousel organized into five destinations: Travel, The Spa, Room Service, Souvenirs and The Newsstand. Together, the spaces feature more than 55 brands, including 14 making their Bloomingdale's debut. Hospitality names including Diptyque and Frette join the mix, along with La Prairie, Assouline and Gohar World. The concept plays on the pleasures associated with a great hotel stay. Travel focuses on the pieces that make a journey more enjoyable, while The Spa brings beauty and wellness into the experience. Room Service and Souvenirs extend the hotel theme into food, home and lifestyle, and The Newsstand adds the leisurely browsing associated with picking up a magazine or book before heading upstairs. The result is part shopping destination, part travel fantasy and part very stylish hotel lobby. Late Checkout: A Ritz-Carlton Story One of the more intriguing pieces of the collaboration is Late Checkout: A Ritz-Carlton Story, a collectible fashion and lifestyle capsule inspired by the idea of taking a little piece of a memorable hotel stay home. The collection has an added distinction: Hotel Bloomingdale's marks the first time Late Checkout: A Ritz-Carlton Story has been available through a retail partner. For travelers and Ritz-Carlton devotees, it provides another way to engage with the brand outside its hotels and resorts, while fitting naturally into Bloomingdale's fashion and lifestyle environment. Studio 59 Gets a Hotel Bar A shopping excursion calls for a drink, and Hotel Bloomingdale's has that covered. Bloomingdale's Studio 59 has been transformed into a Ritz-Carlton-inspired hotel bar, with cocktails drawing inspiration from destinations across The Ritz-Carlton portfolio. The menu includes Ladies and Gentlemen, inspired by Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts; Blue Skies, representing The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection; and Reserved for the Rare, inspired by Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Other cocktails take their cues from individual destinations, including Savannah View, inspired by The Ritz-Carlton Emirates, and Wolgan Valley. It is a clever extension of the hotel concept: instead of merely shopping for a travel-inspired wardrobe or souvenir, visitors can experience the destinations through the bar menu. The Spa Comes to Bloomingdale's The wellness component arrives courtesy of La Prairie, which is operating a limited-time spa residence within the flagship. The La Prairie experience brings the Swiss skincare brand's highly ritualized approach to beauty into Hotel Bloomingdale's, complementing a larger selection of beauty and wellness products throughout the retail experience. For Bloomingdale's shoppers, it also provides a chance to sample the restorative side of the hotel experience without actually checking into a hotel. The Details Make the Difference Personalization is another important part of the collaboration. Complimentary Abbode embroidery allows shoppers to personalize select purchases, turning a retail acquisition into something more closely resembling a hotel keepsake. That detail is particularly fitting for The Ritz-Carlton, whose hospitality has long centered on individualized service and attention to guests. Hotel Bloomingdale's essentially translates that philosophy into shopping: the discovery of something special, the pleasure of a thoughtful detail and the opportunity to leave with a souvenir that feels personal. For New Yorkers and visitors who happen to be in Manhattan this fall, the fun activation brings together two distinctly recognizable luxury brands while giving shoppers a reason to explore Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship through an entirely different lens. Hotel Bloomingdale's runs September 10 through October 19, 2026, at Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship in New York City.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection introduces its Summer 2028 Mediterranean & Northern Europe season.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection introduces its Summer 2028 Mediterranean & Northern Europe season. Sep 09, 2026, 09:00 ET Thoughtfully designed voyages across Europe balance iconic destinations with quieter coastal communities, creating space for unexpected moments of discovery along the way. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection announced its Summer 2028 European itineraries, featuring 52 voyages aboard Evrima and Ilma across the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Sailing from late April through October 2028, the season takes guests from the lively coastlines of the Mediterranean to the dramatic fjords and rugged landscapes of Northern Europe, revealing the unique character of each region through thoughtfully paced journeys at sea, balancing unhurried days on board with immersive exploration ashore. From the colorful fishing villages of the Italian Riviera and the whitewashed islands of the Aegean to Norway's majestic fjords and Iceland's volcanic scenery, the Summer 2028 voyages showcase the breadth of Europe's coastal regions. Two new ports of call, Gijón, Spain and Portovenere, Italy, expand the season's offerings, alongside greater exploration of the Greek Isles and the Adriatic aboard Ilma. Voyages range from four to nine nights, including roundtrip departures from Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Venice, and Reykjavík. While the Mediterranean unfolds through island villages, centuries-old ports, and vibrant culinary traditions, Northern Europe delivers a striking contrast. Aboard Evrima, itineraries sail through Norway's UNESCO-listed fjords, the medieval capitals of the Baltics, and Iceland's volcanic terrain, where scenic sail-ins and extraordinary natural beauty become as memorable as the destinations themselves. Together, the season presents two distinct perspectives on Europe, each shaped by the landscapes and cultures that bring it to life. "The destinations our guests remember most are often the ones where they form the strongest connections, with the places they visit, the people they meet, and the moments they experience along the way," said Ernesto Fara, President & Chief Executive Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. "Our Summer 2028 season reflects that belief, bringing together itineraries that encourage guests to spend more time engaging with each place in a way that feels personal and authentic. We believe those connections are what transform a voyage into an experience that stays with them long after they return home." The journey continues ashore through Pre-Designed Private Excursions, Select Group Excursions, and Custom Private Excursions, tailored to individual interests and inviting a deeper exploration of each destination. In the Mediterranean, guests can sail along the Portofino coastline to the secluded bay of San Fruttuoso, harvest oysters from the seabed at a family-owned farm in Mali Ston Bay, take in Mallorca from above by helicopter before a guided winery tasting, or explore the volcanic terrain of Milos by Jeep. Northern Europe provides opportunities to soar over Iceland's waterfalls, lava fields, and glaciers by helicopter with a remote landing or discover the artistry of French caviar through a private tasting paired with Champagne at an eco-friendly estate in Bordeaux. Each experience creates a more intimate perspective on its destination, connecting guests with the landscapes, craftsmanship, and local expertise that define it. Highlights on Evrima include: May 14, 2028 | 7-Night Nice to Rome From Nice to Rome, this voyage traces coastlines that have drawn artists, writers, and travelers for generations. Spend a morning wandering Cannes on the French Riviera before continuing to Italy, where Portofino's colorful harbor and Portovenere's shoreline seem almost untouched by time. On the island of Elba, historic fortifications rise above quiet coves and crystalline waters, offering a glimpse into a different side of Mediterranean life. July 12, 2028 | 9-Night London to Copenhagen Summer days stretch along Norway's coastline, where colorful harbors, mountain-framed fjords, and waterside villages shape the journey from Haugesund to Geiranger. Scenic sailings through one of Norway's most breathtaking fjords reveal towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls, while Kristiansand and Aalborg offer a glimpse into Scandinavian urban life before the itinerary concludes in Copenhagen. Highlights on Ilma include: May 9, 2028 | 7-Night Athens Round Trip Days unfold among some of the Aegean's most storied islands, from the whitewashed lanes of Mykonos to the dramatic views of Santorini's caldera. In Patmos, life moves at a gentle pace, while the quiet beauty of Amorgos and Nafplio's waterfront cafés and neoclassical streets invite lingering exploration before returning to Athens. July 27, 2028 | 7-Night Rome Round Trip Leaving Rome behind, you'll find yourself among Valletta's honey-colored historic streets and sunlit squares, where café terraces spill into lively squares. In Taormina, Mount Etna remains in view beyond the rooftops, while Amalfi's steep lanes, lemon groves, and sweeping coastal views invite a slower look. Before returning to Rome, a final island call brings dramatic cliffs, tucked-away coves, and the relaxed pace of southern Italy into view. Reservations for Summer 2028 voyages across the Mediterranean and Northern Europe are now open. For more information on the itineraries, please visit ritzcarltonyachtcollection.com. Ritz-Carlton yachts grows revenue 42% as losses persist. * September 1, 2026 The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection posted cruise revenues of $103 million in the second quarter of 2026, a 42 percent year-over-year increase, as its three ships operated together for a full quarter for the first time. Adjusted EBITDA was negative $5 million for the quarter, up from a negative $14 million a year earlier. Parent company Cruise Yacht Upper HoldCo Ltd. reported the results in its unaudited interim financial report for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Year-to-date cruise revenues reached $195 million, up 67 percent. Bookings rose 35 percent in the quarter to $103 million, while year-to-date bookings hit a record $237 million, up 46 percent. The average daily rate per passenger climbed 7 percent in the quarter to $1,993 and 14 percent year-to-date to $1,840, which the company attributed to to enhanced itineraries, yield discipline and what it described as growing brand equity. Available passenger cruise days increased 50 percent in the quarter with the fleet growing to three ships and 55 percent year-to-date. Load factor came in at 51 percent for both the quarter and the year-to-date period, down from 57 and 54 percent, respectively. Repeat passengers accounted for roughly 22 percent of guests who sailed in the quarter and 23 percent of booked guests year-to-date. Year-to-date, adjusted EBITDA was negative $24 million, compared to negative $47 million in the prior-year period. The net loss widened to $146 million from $78 million, driven largely by finance expense of $74 million. As previously reported, the company closed an agreement with lenders on May 21 deferring $171 million in scheduled amortization payments under the Ilma and Luminara facilities originally due between December 2025 and December 2027. Those amounts will be repaid in equal installments from January 2028 through January 2033. Shareholders injected $167 million on May 22, bringing total 2026 equity contributions to $192 million.
