Responsibilities
  • Independently define, plan, and execute complex protein production, purification, and characterization strategies across multiple discovery and platform initiatives, establishing technical milestones, decision criteria, dependencies, and risk-mitigation plans.
  • Lead the design, optimization, scale-up, and troubleshooting of protein expression workflows, including transient mammalian and cell-free protein synthesis platforms, and provide technical input into construct design, molecular biology, and stable-expression activities as needed.
  • Lead purification workflow development from capture through polishing, with emphasis on larger-scale or later-stage protein production; design and interpret chromatography screening studies, including predictor-plate approaches, resin selection, operating-condition optimization, and scale translation.
