Logistics Coordinator
About the job
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required.
- At least two years of logistics or warehouse operations experience is required.
- At least one year of experience using Excel, Google Suite, and AI tools is required, along with the ability to handle large amounts of data, create pivot tables and data visualizations, and make informed decisions.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
- The ability to deliver packages as needed is required.
- The ability to stand for long hours and adapt to extreme weather conditions is required.
- The ability to work one weekend day is required.
- Identify orders for the next day and create delivery route plans using the company's routing software.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a sufficient pool of drivers is ready for the business.
- Understand driver performance and provide the necessary support.
- Suggest opportunities to reduce costs and improve fleet operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance for the warehouse.
- Assist with administrative and contracting tasks as assigned.
- Drive company vans to maintenance vendors when needed.
- Deliver packages when needed.
- Perform basic fleet maintenance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the fleet and warehouse.
