The platform allows shop owners to compare their performance against top-performing shops nationwide or within their state, with no account required. The tool measures four key profitability metrics: average repair order, car count, parts margin and effective labour rate. Shop owners can enter their data and instantly see anonymous comparisons drawn from Tekmetric's network of more than 15,000 shops. "You can't improve what you're not measuring," said Sunil Patel, Tekmetric's founder and CEO. The company aims to provide real industry data to help shop owners identify growth opportunities and make informed business decisions. Results remain private and anonymous for all users.
