Requirements
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • A bachelor's degree and more than 12 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02, the Defense Acquisition System, and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System.
  • The position is contingent upon the candidate's ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position, including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Execute acquisition management across an entire product line.
  • Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.
  • Prepare, configure, and staff all Milestone documentation.
  • Prepare acquisition and contracting documents, including Justification and Approval, Source Selection Plans, Performance Work Statements, Independent Government Cost Estimates, and Determination and Findings.
  • Assist with determining contracting strategy, prepare contracting documents, and coordinate activities with Army Contracting Command.
  • Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations.
  • Participate in product Integrated Product Teams, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
  • Assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products.
  • Maintain and manage the program budget and master schedule.
  • Identify cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
  • Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Request Packages for the Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from the Product Management Office to the Defense Logistics Agency or Army Sustainment.
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents.
  • Work with contracting personnel to achieve the desired contracted outcome.
  • Maintain configuration control.
  • Prepare plans for product risk mitigation.
  • Perform acquisition planning tasks.

  • Prior experience supporting a United States Army product management office.
