Requirements

Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Must have at least one year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function, or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an operations function.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of manufacturing, filling, and warehouse departments in the manufacturing facility.
Provide direct management of manufacturing employees and leads and foster a team environment through effective and appropriate communication.
Maintain standards for safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels, and provide leadership to meet facility goals in Safety, Quality, People, Service, and Cost.
Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, and picking operations.
Implement operational policies and procedures.
Ensure effective and safe use of manufacturing equipment.
Monitor quality and productivity to ensure service and cost objectives are met.
Plan the daily work schedule by coordinating with outside vendors and internal departments.
Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
Conduct regular communication meetings with the workforce to enhance the Business Management System and Operational Excellence.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.

Desired Qualifications

Have at least a bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain.
Have at least one year of experience in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams.
Have completed formal training in and/or have at least one year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, or Transactional Lean.
Have at least three years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility.
Have prior work experience using timekeeping and/or production control systems.

This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s manufacturing team. They ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of manufacturing, filling, and warehouse departments in our manufacturing facility. They provide direct management of manufacturing employees and leads and are accountable for fostering a team environment through effective and appropriate communication. They are responsible for maintaining all standards in accordance with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels as well as providing leadership to meet facility goals in the 5 focus areas of Operational Excellence including Safety, Quality, People, Service and Cost.

Additional Information:

Night Shift 6:00pm-6:00am
Training will coincide with C Shift 6:00am-6:00pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Salary Frequency: Annually

Minimum Salary: 68,302.52

Maximum Salary: 85,665.83
