Internal Audit Manager
About the job
- A university degree or higher in finance, accounting, information management, law, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of independent audit experience at a public, listed, OTC-listed, or IPO-preparation company.
- Meet the regulatory fitness requirements for an internal audit supervisor at a public company.
- Be familiar with Taiwan public-company and listing regulations and internal-control-system regulations.
- Have fluent English skills for cross-border business communication and report writing, and be able to independently coordinate audits with overseas subsidiaries.
- Have strong cross-functional communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, and understand the agile operating model of software technology platforms.
- Review the internal control system and internal audit implementation rules planned by internal teams and advisory organizations.
- Coordinate preparation of audit-related filings in line with the IPO schedule and liaise with the IPO underwriter and independent accountants.
- Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan and conduct regular and special audits of domestic and overseas subsidiaries.
- Prepare audit reports, recommend improvements, and periodically track remediation of audit findings.
- Support audit agenda preparation, submissions, and results reporting for the board of directors, audit committee, and other functional committee meetings.
- Assess corporate governance and legal compliance, and advise departments on regulatory matters and system updates.
- Work with operations, product, technology, and finance teams to assess platform transaction security, online payments, IT general controls, data privacy, and cross-border operating risks, and translate compliance requirements into efficient operating procedures.
- Conduct the annual internal control self-assessment and guide departments in implementing self-management.
- Handle periodic and ad hoc audit filings and correspondence required by regulators, and help review compliance of material disclosures and public information releases.
- Handle other risk-control and special audit projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Experience auditing or advising domestic and overseas subsidiaries.
- CIA, CPA, or CISA certification.
- Audit or advisory experience at a Big Four accounting firm, or firsthand participation in a complete IPO filing process.
- Audit or risk-control experience in software, internet platforms, e-commerce, SaaS, or online travel platforms.
