  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline and 15 years of engineering experience, including at least five years of technical leadership in solid rocket motors.
  • Ability to direct the program's end-to-end technical lifecycle, lead cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones, and ensure the final system is producible, compliant with technical data requirements, and balanced against cost and schedule constraints.
  • Ability to lead the engineering team in meeting program milestones by focusing on the critical path, deconflicting resources, and driving schedule performance through task span-time management and alternative execution strategies.
  • Demonstrated responsibility for establishing and maintaining lean technical scope baselines, eliminating contingency budgeting, monitoring cost performance indices, mitigating variances, challenging budget change requests, preserving management reserves, and exploring alternative technical solutions.
  • Experience serving as the primary technical spokesperson for a program, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, presenting programmatic material, cultivating new business, keeping customer requests within authorized scope, and providing data-driven technical alternatives for collaborative decisions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including possible overnight travel near company sites or external test facilities.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry items or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities

Voyager delivers quick disconnect plates for ESA's eco-friendly methane rocket

Voyager Technologies has delivered and integrated quick disconnect plates for the European Space Agency's In-Flight Demonstrator rocket.
