What believers are saying

  • Ingram Micro exposes DoiT to 5,000-plus AWS partners and broader channel distribution.
  • PerfectScale for Commitments targets dynamic Kubernetes and autoscaling waste, expanding monetizable savings workflows.
  • SELECT and Attribute extend DoiT into Snowflake, Databricks, and AI spend, widening wallet share.

What critics are saying

  • Five acquisitions in 18 months and 2026 headcount volatility strain integration, culture, and execution.
  • DoiT's business ties tightly to AWS partner programs; AWS policy changes hit revenue quickly.
  • Hyperscalers and FinOps vendors can copy attribution features, compressing margins and making DoiT expendable.

DoiT partners with OpenAI to help enterprises migrate AI workloads to AWS with full cost attribution

DoiT has partnered with OpenAI to help enterprises run OpenAI models on AWS and attribute AI costs. The partnership brings DoiT's cost attribution product Attribute to teams building on OpenAI, alongside Forward Deployed Engineers and an FTR-approved migration path onto Amazon Bedrock. Across DoiT's 4,000-plus customers, monthly AI spend has grown roughly 100-fold in two years. OpenAI's frontier models, including GPT-6 Astra, are now available on Amazon Bedrock at the same per-token price as OpenAI's API, with usage counting towards existing AWS commitments. DoiT's OpenAI-to-AWS GenAI Migration Accelerator, available on AWS Marketplace, enables customers to transition workloads with staged migration. The Attribute product traces every token, inference and training run to the team, product and customer behind it in real time, without requiring code changes.

DoiT helps AWS partners meet new AI-focused MSP audit requirements

DoiT has updated its PartnerOps Channel Management platform to support AWS's MSP Program Validation Checklist 8.0, which takes effect on 1 January 2027. The new checklist requires AWS Managed Service Provider partners to demonstrate AI capabilities, including GenAI and agentic observability, AI workload cost optimisation, and measurable AI-driven business outcomes for each customer. The Channel Management module helps partners navigate the certification process by assigning control owners, breaking work into tasks, and reviewing evidence. It works alongside DoiT's broader product suite, including Attribute — the real-time AI cost attribution technology acquired in July 2026 — which connects token, model, and GPU costs directly to individual customers using live runtime data. DoiT PartnerOps provides cloud ecosystem partners with tools to manage AWS programme relationships and maintain compliance between audits.

DoiT acquires Attribute to launch real-time AI tokenomics and earns AWS Business Value Realization status

DoiT acquired AI cost-management startup Attribute in July 2026 to launch a real-time, kernel-level tokenomics product. The Santa Clara-based company has acquired five companies in the past 18 months, focusing on AI cost management. DoiT simultaneously became an inaugural partner for the new AWS Business Value Realization Competency, which proves measurable financial and technical outcomes for enterprise customers. This recognition complements a five-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to generate $5 billion in business. The acquisition enables DoiT to offer automated, zero-instrumentation cost attribution that tracks real-time consumption at the kernel level. The platform connects AI token costs directly to individual customers, features, and autonomous agents without requiring SDKs or tagging policies. DoiT aims to lead in establishing operational standards for AI token attribution alongside the newly formed Tokenomics Foundation by the Linux Foundation and FinOps Foundation.

DoiT launches Attribute to track AI spend without code changes

DoiT has launched Attribute™, a technology that tracks AI spending across tokens, model requests, and GPU usage without requiring SDKs, tags, or code changes. The system uses a lightweight eBPF sensor that installs in approximately 15 minutes and immediately provides detailed cost breakdowns per customer, feature, and agent. The technology addresses a growing challenge in AI cost management. DoiT projects monthly AI spend will triple in the next 12 months, yet only 15% of 500 surveyed enterprise leaders said they could calculate AI ROI without significant bottlenecks. Attribute™ measures consumption at the operating system kernel level, tracking every GPU cycle, API call, and token back to the specific workload, tenant, or agent responsible. The system automatically splits cached, reasoning, input, and output tokens and integrates with cost data from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and AWS Bedrock.
