It offers mortgage loans early on and obtained NCUSIA insurance in 1978. It now serves over 160,000 members with more than $2.5 billion in assets and runs the Credit Union of Colorado Foundation to support community giving and scholarships. Its mission is “Here to Help,” focusing on member needs and community service rather than shareholder profits.
