About the company

Rezo Therapeutics maps disease networks to develop precision medicines. Its SSD platform combines proteomics, genetics, structural biology, chemistry, and bioinformatics to build maps of molecular disease networks and identify druggable targets, with a focus on solid tumors. Unlike single-target approaches, it maps whole networks to reveal tumor-specific vulnerabilities and guide therapy development, supported by UCSF QBI origins. The goal is to translate network biology into a pipeline of targeted therapeutics through internal programs and strategic partnerships.

What believers are saying

  • Cristiana Guiducci's CSO appointment adds oncology discovery credibility from Nurix and immunology.
  • Forty employees and continued leadership changes indicate ongoing program investment through 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Rezo still has no disclosed clinical candidates or human data as of August 2026.
  • Zero active job postings in 2026 signal slowed hiring and possible capital conservation.
  • If SSD never yields a clinical asset, Rezo becomes a platform story without product traction.

What makes Rezo Therapeutics unique

  • Rezo's SSD platform combines proteomics, genetics, chemistry, and bioinformatics for network mapping.
  • UCSF founders Nevan Krogan and Kevan Shokat anchor unusually deep academic disease-biology expertise.
