A Nitec/Higher Nitec qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent course is required.
Clear communication skills are required.
The ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre loads safely is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Operate lifting equipment to move, lift, and carry assembling parts and components, using proper lifting techniques in accordance with safety standards to prevent damage.
Conduct pre-checks of the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a clean and organized environment before fitting operations.
Perform fitting operations according to instructions in the established process plan, with specific accuracy to ensure work-process efficiency.
Interpret technical drawings and Bills of Materials to perform fitting operations accurately and efficiently.
Install fittings, including pins, inserts, and tubing, into precision parts and components according to established procedures and guidelines.
Inspect installed fittings and inserts for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications and requirements.
Maintain and manage records such as serial numbers, part numbers, and installation dates accurately for reporting delivery status, including production duration and quality.
Prepare parts for the next operation by packing them according to defined procedures to prevent contamination and damage.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace by following 5S and cleanroom standards, adhering to safety protocols and regulations, and preventing contamination.

Description

Purpose: Responsible for installing fittings (pins, inserts, tubing) into precision parts and components within a cleanroom environment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to customer requirements, specifications, and strict cleanliness standards. Additionally, responsible for supporting process implementation, performing administrative tasks in production, and assisting with the movement and packaging of parts, which may require lifting and carrying loads.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

Operate lifting equipment to move, lift and carry assembling parts and components by utilizing proper lifting techniques in accordance with safety standards to prevent damage.
