Trimble for Government hits 'Initial Implementation' status for FedRAMP Moderate certification

Trimble said Trimble for Government has reached "Initial Implementation" status for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Class C (Moderate) certification. The product is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace. Trimble is also pursuing GovRAMP authorisation, which would serve state, local and education customers with reciprocal cybersecurity standards. Trimble for Government is a software as a service platform built in a secure Government Community Cloud. It helps US federal, state and local agencies, and defence contractors, manage infrastructure, spatial data, capital projects, permitting and facility assets. Full authorisation would help public sector bodies and Department of Defense contractors meet strict security mandates, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification alignment. Assessments are underway.
