That's according to Miao, who announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post on Monday (September 14). She joins from Hightouch, the data and AI marketing company, where she was CFO. Wrote Miao: "I'm thrilled to share that I've joined Suno, the AI music company, as their first CFO. "I'm not joining Suno because it's one of the fastest-growing companies of all time (though it is!). I'm joining because my daughter started singing before she started talking. "Music is one of the things that makes humans human, and I'm deeply committed to the mission of using technology to bring more people the joy of creative expression. "On an internet that pushes us to mindlessly consume, more than 100 million people have used Suno to make something instead. A world centered on creation and expression is the world I want my daughter to live in." In her post, Miao thanked Suno's founding team, linking to the profiles of co-founders Mikey Shulman, Martin Camacho, and Georg Kucsko. She also thanked people at Menlo Ventures, Bond Capital, Forerunner, IVP, Lightspeed, and Matrix, all of which have invested in Suno.
