HiBob and The Josh Bersin Company launch Galileo powered workforce intelligence in Bob. Table of contents Galileo(R) in Bob combines 25 years of trusted HR expertise with Bob's trusted people context intelligence to bring context-aware guidance into the flow of work helping leaders make better workforce decisions with greater confidence New York, US & London, UK - 16 September, 2026 - HiBob, the people platform for the modern world of work and The Josh Bersin Company, the world's most trusted global research and advisory firm focused on human resources, corporate learning, talent management, and HR technology today announce the next step toward organizational intelligence with the launch of Galileo(R) powered AI agents in Bob. Organizations don't need another AI assistant, they need trusted expertise embedded where work happens. As AI reshapes the workplace, HR leaders, managers, and employees need practical guidance in the flow of work, not disconnected tools or generic AI responses that quickly become outdated. By embedding Galileo(R)'s external HR expertise into Bob's understanding of an organization's people, structures, workflows and priorities, the integration brings contextual intelligence into the flow of work helping make the organization smarter, not simply its HR technology. "Most organizations don't have an AI problem. They have an intelligence problem. The challenge isn't generating more information. It's helping leaders make better decisions with the information they already have. Workforce transformation requires organizations to connect people, payroll, performance, and planning in a way that turns insight into action. That's why we've embedded Galileo's expertise directly into Bob AI," said Ronni Zehavi, CEO and Co-founder of HiBob. Zehavi concludes: "By combining trusted expertise with workforce intelligence, we're helping organizations build the operating system they need for the AI era, one that elevates human decision-making rather than replacing it." From AI potential to practical impact. While AI adoption is accelerating across every industry, many organizations are struggling to convert experimentation into measurable business value. The challenge is no longer access to AI. It is access to contextual intelligence that most helps leaders understand the signals and insights provided by AI and translate them into better decision-making. This is where the market is heading. Organizations need AI embedded within the manager's daily workflow and where workforce decisions are made, not disconnected tools that sit alongside them. HiBob is building agents that incorporate Galileo(R) context into answers when relevant to a user's question. The initial agents, expected to be adopted by hundreds of customers by the end of 2026, and into the first quarter of 2027 are designed to support: * Job architecture - structuring roles and skills with industry-aligned frameworks * Compensation - guiding fair, competitive, and data-informed pay decisions * Performance management - improving evaluation quality and consistency Bob combines each organization's unique people data with HiBob's technical expertise and 25 years of research and insight from The Josh Bersin Company. By understanding roles, performance, workflows and priorities, it provides leaders and managers with reliable, evidence-based intelligence in the flow of work helping them make better decisions in the moment and respond more intelligently to change. The next frontier: organizational intelligence. For years, organizations have invested in systems of record and systems of engagement. The next generation of organizations will be built on systems of intelligence that connect people, payroll, performance, planning, and business priorities in one place. Organizational Intelligence enables leaders to move from hindsight to foresight, helping them anticipate workforce challenges, make better decisions, and act with greater confidence. Josh Bersin, global industry analyst and CEO of The Josh Bersin Company, added: "For AI to truly transform HR, it must be grounded in expertise and delivered in the flow of work. The partnership between Galileo(R) and Bob brings decades of HR knowledge directly into the hands of practitioners and managers when they need it most while empowering teams to make more human-centered decisions every day." AVAILABILITY The Galileo(R) Inside Bob agents will be available in Q3 2026; full GA 2027. Zalaris brings compliant, local payroll to HiBob's global HR platform.

Zalaris brings compliant, local payroll to HiBob's global HR platform. New certified integration connects HiBob's HR platform with Zalaris PeopleHub, giving HiBob customers accurate, compliant payroll wherever they operate. Zalaris, a leading provider of HR and payroll managed services and solutions, today announced a new integration that brings its compliant, local payroll expertise to HiBob, the HR platform behind Bob. The certified integration connects HiBob's HR data directly to Zalaris PeopleHub, giving joint customers accurate, compliant payroll without duplicate data entry or manual processes. This reflects the platform-agnostic approach Zalaris takes to payroll integration. Zalaris PeopleHub connects with a range of HR systems, and HiBob is now the latest certified partner alongside Workday. That gives more businesses access to compliant, local payroll expertise from Zalaris, whichever HR platform they use. How the integration works Once connected, core employee data, including new starters, leavers and changes to employee details, flows automatically from HiBob into Zalaris PeopleHub. Because payroll compliance depends on country-specific data that goes beyond standard HR fields, such as statutory and bank details, this additional information is captured directly in Zalaris PeopleHub, using country-specific forms already in place across the markets where Zalaris provides payroll services. Employees continue to view their payslips and manage payroll-related self-service through Zalaris PeopleHub / MyPayslip. Why it matters for HiBob customers * Reduced manual data entry: employee data updates flow automatically from HiBob into Zalaris, removing the need to maintain the same records in two systems * Local compliance, built in: country-specific payroll rules and statutory requirements are handled by Zalaris local payroll experts in every market * One integrated experience: employees access payslips and payroll support in one place, regardless of which HR system their employer uses * Room to grow: the integration is designed to extend to further data flows over time, including a planned return of payroll data such as payslips to HiBob "By connecting Zalaris PeopleHub with HiBob, we're making it easier for growing, international businesses to access compliant, local payroll without having to change how they manage HR," said Øyvind Reiten, EVP Group Commercial and Sales, Zalaris. "It's part of our commitment to being a payroll partner that works with the systems our customers already use, wherever they operate." "Our customers need flexibility as they expand across markets. Partnering with Zalaris enables them to combine HiBob's modern HR platform with local payroll capabilities from Zalaris, supporting a simpler and more connected employee experience across their international operations." said Fabian Schmid, Director of Partnerships, HiBob. About Zalaris Zalaris is a leading provider of Global Payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, delivering services to over 2 million employees each month and generating annual revenues exceeding €130 million. Salesforce leads $166M HiBob funding round at $3.2B valuation as AI strategy expands.

Salesforce leads $166M HiBob funding round at $3.2B valuation as AI strategy expands. Published September 1, 2026 HiBob, the company behind the Bob human resources platform, has raised $166 million in a new funding round led by Salesforce at a valuation of more than $3.2 billion, as the company looks to transform its workforce-management software into infrastructure for an increasingly AI-powered workplace. Salesforce supplied the majority of the capital, with Farallon Capital Management also participating in what represents the largest funding round in HiBob's history. The financing brings the company's total capital raised since its founding to more than $700 million. The valuation also represents a meaningful step up from HiBob's previous financing. In 2023, Farallon led a $150 million investment that valued the company at approximately $2.66 billion. The new valuation is therefore roughly 20% higher, despite a difficult funding environment for many traditional software-as-a-service companies. HiBob has not publicly assigned a Series designation to the new financing. Salesforce makes a strategic bet on workforce data. The investment goes beyond simply putting more capital behind another enterprise software company. HiBob is positioning Bob as an organizational intelligence layer capable of supplying AI systems with information about how a company actually operates. That includes employees, skills, management structures, teams, permissions, compensation, performance and workforce plans. As AI agents begin executing tasks rather than simply generating text, access to this type of contextual information becomes increasingly important. A general-purpose AI model might understand how to conduct a performance review or create a workforce plan, but it does not inherently know who manages a particular employee, which skills exist inside an organization, what permissions apply or how a company's teams are structured. HiBob's argument is that enterprise AI becomes substantially more useful when it is connected to that trusted organizational context. The company's investment announcement describes that data layer as infrastructure that could increasingly sit underneath AI agents and automated workflows rather than being confined to a traditional HR application. Bob is evolving beyond a traditional HR platform. HiBob began as a modern alternative to legacy Human Capital Management systems, but Bob has gradually expanded beyond basic employee records. The platform now spans core HR, payroll, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, skills management and financial planning. That expansion is particularly relevant to AI because it creates a richer dataset from which agents can reason. HiBob's AI platform includes Bob Companion, a conversational interface capable of coordinating specialized agents for different functions. Those include tools focused on performance reviews, employee development, learning, skills, talent management and financial analysis. Rather than functioning only as a standalone chatbot, the broader objective is for AI to draw on the underlying organizational data and permissions already maintained within Bob. HiBob is opening its data to external AI agents. One of the more technically significant pieces of HiBob's AI strategy is its support for Model Context Protocol (MCP). HiBob has developed an MCP server that allows compatible AI systems to connect to workforce information and approved actions inside Bob. That could allow an employee to ask an external AI assistant about remaining vacation days, organizational reporting structures or other workforce information without manually navigating the HR platform. With the appropriate permissions, agents could eventually take actions as well. The approach reflects a broader shift toward what HiBob calls a "headless" model for organizational intelligence. Instead of requiring employees to visit an HR application whenever they need workforce information, Bob's data could increasingly surface inside AI assistants, collaboration systems and automated workflows. The growing integration between HiBob and Salesforce-owned Slack provides an obvious distribution channel for that strategy. AI creates a new problem: managing humans and agents together. HiBob CEO and co-founder Ronni Zehavi is framing the opportunity around something larger than automating HR administration. As AI agents enter businesses, organizations may need to rethink how work itself is divided between people and software. In a post-funding interview, Zehavi said companies are increasingly having to determine which work should be performed by employees, which tasks should be assigned to agents and which skills humans require when AI handles part of their previous workload. HiBob is already developing technology aimed at this problem. Zehavi said the company is working on a system capable of calculating the cost of an employee, an AI agent or work performed jointly between the two. Traditional workforce planning revolves around headcount, salaries, departments and employee productivity. A business deploying hundreds or thousands of software agents could eventually need to model digital labor alongside human labor, including its cost, capabilities, permissions and accountability. For a company already maintaining detailed information about organizational structures and employees, that represents a logical expansion. HiBob has grown to more than $400M in sales. The funding also comes at a considerably later stage in HiBob's development than its earlier venture rounds. Zehavi said HiBob is now generating more than $400 million in sales and wants to grow that figure to $1 billion over the next several years. Despite its scale and the new valuation, he said an initial public offering is not currently a priority, describing an IPO as unrealistic in the present market environment. HiBob's funding history illustrates how quickly the company has expanded. The company raised $70 million in Series B financing in 2020, followed by a $150 million Series C in 2021 that valued it at approximately $1.65 billion. A $150 million Series D followed in August 2022 at a $2.45 billion valuation. Another $150 million investment in 2023, led by Farallon with participation from Alpha Wave Global and existing investors, increased the reported valuation to roughly $2.66 billion. The latest $166 million investment pushes that figure past $3.2 billion. Sources familiar with the financing also indicated that HiBob intends to use the new capital partly for acquisitions and further expansion of the platform, suggesting the company may continue broadening beyond its traditional HR roots. AI could redefine workforce management. The broader implication of HiBob's AI strategy is that HR software may eventually manage more than human employees. As AI agents take on research, support, coding, analysis and administrative work, companies will need to track how tasks are divided between people and software, what each costs, and where accountability sits. That could turn workforce platforms into control layers for hybrid teams of humans and AI agents, combining data on roles, skills, compensation, permissions and performance. It could also create new risks around employee monitoring, automated performance judgments and access to sensitive workforce data. If this trend continues, HR systems may evolve from tools for managing headcount into platforms for managing an organization's entire pool of human and machine labor.
