About the job

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI productivity tools, automation, or agentic workflows within a professional services or program delivery context, with measurable impact on delivery efficiency, team output, or customer outcomes.
  • 12+ years of professional services or consulting delivery experience, with direct accountability for program execution across financials, risk, scope, and customer outcomes.
  • A demonstrated track record leading large, complex programs of $10M or more with measurable positive business outcomes.
  • 5+ years leading large, cross-functional delivery teams across multiple geographies and workstreams, including direct and indirect team members and third-party system integrators, without positional authority.
  • Direct experience managing engagement-level program financials, including forecasting to budget, financial management, revenue control, earned value analysis, contingency management, and delivered-versus-bid margin.
  • End-to-end knowledge of system development, implementation, and operational readiness concepts, practices, procedures, and deliverables, including partnering with technical teams on operational planning and addressing technical issues.
  • Proven ability to lead steering committees and executive-level customer relationships, including difficult data-driven conversations about budget, resources, timelines, and formal outcomes, and driving decisions under pressure.
  • Experience conducting structured sales-to-delivery handoffs or equivalent intake processes that establish clear context, confirmed scope, and named risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and escalate delivery risks proactively, with examples of surfacing issues early enough to course-correct before customer impact.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones and geographies.
  • Ability to lead executive-level workshops and tailor verbal and written communications to the audience.
  • Ability to operate as a fully billable individual contributor.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
Responsibilities
  • Create the program strategy, management approach, and governance, and guide the customer at executive and program levels to align engagement objectives, outcomes, and success KPIs.
  • Serve as the executive-facing delivery contact and manage client and internal Salesforce communications up to the C-suite regarding expectations, performance, governance, issue escalation, and resolution.
  • Own end-to-end service delivery and contractual commitments, working with the customer to amend and approve changes as needed; maintain financial accountability for bid-versus-delivered margin.
  • Drive transformational changes, particularly around AI and agentic capabilities, aligning IT strategy, governance, processes, and stakeholder decisions to support system satisfaction, adoption, consumption, and customer impact.
  • Anticipate, mitigate, and manage risks to Salesforce and the customer, taking program action and presenting signals with recommended paths to resolution.
  • Build and expand business relationships and delivery-originated pipeline; coordinate with Sales, Success, Technology, Product, and Support on adoption initiatives and account alignment.
  • Develop multi-threaded executive relationships within accounts to accelerate customer value and improve outcomes.
  • Lead and uplift Salesforce Professional Services team members through coaching, and contribute to internal processes, artifacts, and methodologies that improve service delivery.
  • Actively use AI tools and agentic workflows to optimize program-team delivery, reduce manual work, accelerate insights, and model productivity gains.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience delivering Agentforce or equivalent enterprise AI platform implementations, with the ability to advise customers on agentic enterprise transformations.
  • PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification, or equivalent program management discipline applied at scale across long-duration, complex engagements; familiarity with PMI standards and SPSM methodology.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • 10+ years using or implementing core Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, ideally as a consultant, with sufficient Salesforce platform knowledge to influence strategic and value discussions at management or executive level.
  • Salesforce platform certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing; these certifications will be required as part of the role and are available through Salesforce's global education reimbursement program.
  • Financial Services domain expertise sufficient to advise executives on industry trends, regulatory considerations, and strategic implications of technology transformation.
  • Experience operating in outcomes-based or fixed-fee delivery models, protecting proposal-stage margins through execution discipline rather than relying on later change orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve delivery-context conflicts, including change-order negotiations, scope disputes, and steering committee decision-forcing.

About the company

Salesforce sells cloud software that helps businesses manage sales leads, customer service, marketing, and online commerce from shared customer records. Its flagship Sales Cloud tracks accounts and deals, while Service Cloud organizes support cases and Agentforce builds AI assistants that act on company data. Teams access these tools through a browser and connect outside apps and data sources, with Slack for work messages and Tableau for visual analysis. Salesforce earns most of its revenue from software subscriptions and support, with professional services for implementation and training. Marc Benioff co-founded Salesforce in 1999, and its headquarters are in San Francisco, California.

What believers are saying

  • AI brings paying demand: Salesforce reported nearly $3.9 billion in Agentforce and Data 360 recurring revenue pace in August 2026.
  • Giving back gets paid time: Salesforce employees receive seven paid volunteer days each year.
  • Subscriptions provide a durable base: Salesforce earned $10.8 billion from subscriptions and support in the July 2026 quarter.

What critics are saying

  • Office roles demand attendance: Salesforce's published guidelines require four to five days in person for office-based roles.
  • Expansion brought debt: Salesforce borrowed $6 billion in November 2025 to help finance the Informatica acquisition.
  • Reliability failed during Dreamforce: a September 2026 Salesforce outage disrupted affected Hyperforce environments for seven hours and 36 minutes.

What makes Salesforce unique

  • Partners extend its platform: Salesforce's AgentExchange combines third-party apps, AI agents and services with unified purchasing and billing.
  • Everyone publishes a plan: Salesforce employees write annual goals visible to colleagues through its internal V2MOM system.
  • Learning includes real practice: Salesforce's free Trailhead courses award badges after quizzes and hands-on exercises in practice accounts.

VALiNTRY360 launches seven-pillar framework to measure Salesforce managed services beyond ticket speed

VALiNTRY360, a US Salesforce consulting partner, has introduced a Seven-Pillar Salesforce Managed Services Framework. It helps organisations judge how well their CRM systems perform after implementation. The company says closing support tickets quickly does not prove a CRM works well. Poor data, failing automation, unstable integrations and technical debt can persist regardless. The pillars are support efficiency, data quality, automation reliability, integration stability, release management, user adoption, and readiness for Agentforce and AI. Each has measurable indicators, such as ticket resolution time, duplicate record rates and failed Flows per month. "Companies judge a managed services provider by how fast tickets close. That's one pillar out of seven," said Joe Parris, the company's president. VALiNTRY360 cites one customer case where workflow improvements resolved tickets 77% faster. It says these results are not guaranteed.

Docusign brings its agreement platform natively into Salesforce, Agentforce and Slack

Docusign has expanded its more than 20-year partnership with Salesforce, bringing its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform natively into Salesforce, Agentforce, and Slack. The company announced the move on October 13, 2026. The integration lets sales teams draft, negotiate, and sign agreements without leaving their customer relationship management system. Sellers can ask Agentforce questions about contracts, generate or send agreements, track renewals, and flag hidden risks in obligations buried in master services agreements. In Slack, teams can request a contract, pull live customer and pricing data, apply approved terms, and route the deal to legal within the same thread. Docusign was also named a 2027 Salesforce Partner of the Year for Global Partner and System of Engagement.
