Eluvio builds the Content Fabric, a blockchain-based platform for premium video distribution that lets content owners manage, distribute, and monetize their video assets directly on a decentralized network. It combines live and on-demand streaming, digital rights management, advertising insertion, and a built-in wallet, all within one platform, with usage-based fees for storage and distribution. The platform differentiates itself by giving owners direct control over assets and revenue, powered by an eco-friendly patented blockchain and supported by partnerships with Microsoft and Intel. Its goal is to help media and entertainment creators publish, distribute, and monetize video more efficiently while increasing their revenue share by reducing reliance on intermediaries.

Eluvio debuts inline AI video inference engine with 17 built-in models at IBC 2026

Eluvio announced new AI capabilities for its Content Fabric platform ahead of IBC Show 2026 in Amsterdam. The Berkeley-based company unveiled what it describes as the first commercially available solution for inline, frame-accurate AI inference built directly into media distribution pipelines. The system runs 17 built-in AI models that analyse video, audio, and text without requiring separate processing infrastructure. Unlike conventional cloud workflows, Eluvio's architecture performs AI analysis whilst content streams, eliminating the need to copy or re-transcode media files. New features include automatic vertical video generation for live sports, combining motion analysis and player tracking. The platform also introduces an expanded Video Intelligence Editor and Model Context Protocol API for orchestrating AI workflows through natural-language interfaces. Founded by Michelle Munson and Serban Simu, creators of Aspera, Eluvio serves clients including Warner Bros., UEFA, and Amazon Studios/MGM.
