Bringing Care to the Community: Genesis Orthopedics partners with Chicago State University for student-athlete sports physicals.

Bringing Care to the Community: Genesis Orthopedics partners with Chicago State University for student-athlete sports physicals. Bringing Care to the Community: Supporting Student-Athletes at Chicago State University At Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, expanding access to care means showing up where it matters most - and that includes supporting the next generation of student-athletes. Recently, Genesis partnered with Chicago State University to help provide sports physicals for student-athletes, ensuring they are ready, healthy, and cleared to compete safely in the upcoming seasons. This effort was led by Dr. Hythem Shadid and Elliot Johnson, with the support of a dedicated clinical team focused on delivering efficient and thorough care. This initiative would not have been possible without strong collaboration. Genesisortho extend a special thank you to Danielle Miller, Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine, for her leadership and coordination in making this event successful. Genesisortho also want to recognize Jerry Henley for his support and contribution. Additionally, Genesisortho is grateful for its continued partnership with Lawndale Christian Health Center, whose support helped make this outreach possible. Collaborations like these are essential in expanding access to care and ensuring that student-athletes receive the attention they need to perform at their best. At Genesis, Genesisortho believe orthopedic care should be accessible, proactive, and rooted in the community. Events like this are just one way Genesisortho continue to move that mission forward.
