Requirements
  • The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • The candidate must have three years of experience in a clinical area, including at least one year in the area of specialty; alternatively, the candidate may have a bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two years of experience in a clinical area, including at least one year in the area of specialty.
  • The candidate must hold a current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse, a Nurse Compact license, or a multistate license.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Visual color acuity may be required depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
  • The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team.
  • The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
  • In the absence of the Manager or Director, the Clinical Supervisor may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
  • The Clinical Supervisor works with a unit-specific patient population.
Desired Qualifications
  • An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or another clinical specialty certification is preferred.
