Hilton's new adults-only Cancún resort opens with 429 rooms. By Iuliia Tore / Oct 31, 2026 / 3 minutes of reading Table of Contents Amàre Cancún Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, is scheduled to open on October 31, 2026, introducing a 429-room beachfront retreat in Mexico's popular Caribbean destination. The property marks the first international expansion of Spain's Amàre Hotels brand and its debut in the Americas. Owned and managed by Fuerte Group Hotels, the resort combines a Mediterranean-inspired lifestyle concept with Hilton's Curio Collection. Located on Playa Langosta in Cancún's Hotel Zone, the property offers direct beach access, rooftop leisure areas, swimming pools and an all-inclusive experience designed for adult travelers. Hilton is accepting reservations from October 31. READ MORE: 429 rooms on Cancún's Playa Langosta. Amàre Cancún occupies a beachfront position on Boulevard Kukulcán, approximately 24 kilometers from Cancún International Airport. The property sits between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon, offering direct access to Playa Langosta and views toward Isla Mujeres. The resort is designed for adults seeking a beach holiday with contemporary accommodation, social spaces and wellness experiences. Its location within a sheltered bay may reduce exposure to some sargassum seaweed conditions, although no beach can be guaranteed completely free from seasonal seaweed arrivals. Guests can explore nearby attractions, arrange catamaran excursions or visit Isla Mujeres, depending on weather conditions and local operators. Restaurants, rooftop pools and evening entertainment. Hilton's original development announcement described plans for nine restaurants, nine bars and a coffee shop, alongside three outdoor swimming pools. The hotel's current reservation page lists seven restaurants, suggesting that guests should verify the number of operating venues and the dining options included in their stay. The wider concept includes restaurants inspired by Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine, rooftop social areas and entertainment featuring DJs and live performances. Amàre also plans cultural activities and art experiences highlighting contemporary Mexican and Latin American creativity. As an all-inclusive property, it offers guests the convenience of combining accommodation with participating dining and leisure facilities, subject to the resort's package conditions. Spanish Amàre brand makes its Caribbean debut. Amàre Cancún is the first property developed outside Spain by Fuerte Group Hotels, the family-owned hospitality company behind the Amàre brand. The opening represents an important move into the Caribbean all-inclusive market, where Mexico attracts substantial demand from travelers in the United States, Canada and Europe. Its adults-only positioning distinguishes the property from larger family-oriented resorts across Cancún and the Riviera Maya. The hotel also participates in Hilton's international booking network, with eligible Hilton Honors members able to access loyalty benefits according to program rules. Travelers can check current room availability and facilities through the official Hilton property website. Hilton London Metropole unveils 363 refurbished rooms designed for family stays. With connecting accommodation sleeping up to eight guests, the refurbishment of Hilton London Metropole's West Wing introduces a more flexible approach to family stays in the capital, complemented by the hotel's established dining venues and central London location. Travelling to London as a family can be a wonderful experience, particularly when several generations come together to enjoy everything the capital has to offer. However, finding hotel accommodation that allows everyone to stay comfortably under one roof can sometimes prove more challenging than deciding which attractions to visit. Hilton London Metropole is looking to address that with a multimillion-pound refurbishment of its West Wing, introducing 363 redesigned bedrooms with an emphasis on space, comfort and flexibility. The refurbishment, which is progressing floor by floor and is expected to be completed in November 2026, forms part of the continued investment in the 1,100-bedroom hotel on Edgware Road, one of Hilton's largest properties outside the United States. Although the new accommodation will cater for a variety of travellers, families and larger groups are central to the plans, with several room configurations designed to make sharing a London experience a little easier. Perhaps the most interesting addition is the Four Queen Bed Family Connecting Room, which combines two adjoining dual-queen bedrooms to accommodate up to eight guests. Five of these connecting configurations will be available, providing an option for extended families or groups travelling together who would prefer the convenience of neighbouring accommodation rather than occupying rooms scattered across different parts of a hotel. The wider West Wing collection will include dual-queen rooms sleeping up to four people, family rooms with sofa beds accommodating up to five, and accessible accommodation. The contemporary interiors have been designed to offer some of the hotel's most spacious bedrooms, allowing guests to choose arrangements that better suit the size and requirements of their travelling party. For parents travelling with children, or grandparents accompanying younger members of the family, the practical benefits of having sufficient space and remaining close to one another may be more appealing than some of the elaborate facilities traditionally associated with luxury hotel stays. A Central London Base for Exploring the Capital Hilton London Metropole's location is another advantage for families planning to explore London. Situated on Edgware Road, the hotel is close to Paddington Station and within walking distance of Hyde Park, where the Diana Memorial Playground and extensive green spaces provide opportunities for younger visitors to enjoy some time outdoors. Little Venice, with its canals, waterside cafés and quieter streets, offers another nearby destination for those wanting a change of pace, while the hotel's proximity to public transport makes travelling to attractions elsewhere in London relatively straightforward. For international visitors, Paddington also provides rail connections to Heathrow Airport, including the Heathrow Express, which reaches the airport in approximately 15 minutes from the station. The Elizabeth line offers an alternative connection, although its journey takes longer. The hotel's scale, combined with its central location and varied accommodation, makes it particularly suited to visitors who want to experience different sides of London without needing to change hotels during their stay. Dining with an Emphasis on Seasonality and Reducing Waste Beyond the refurbishment, Hilton London Metropole has developed a food and beverage offering that draws upon London's varied dining culture, with several venues catering for guests looking for everything from a relaxed meal to something more substantial after a day exploring the city. Tyburn Kitchen (above) focuses on modern British cooking and seasonal ingredients, with approximately 90 per cent of its produce sourced from within 100 miles of the hotel. The restaurant is complemented by Tyburn Market, which provides convenient food throughout the day, and Tyburn Kitchen Bar, a more informal setting for drinks and casual dining. Bow Bar adds another option, serving coffee and lighter refreshments during the day before turning its attention to cocktails in the evening. Its approach also incorporates measures intended to reduce environmental impact, including the use of a hydroponic garden for cocktail garnishes and efforts to minimise single-use plastics and waste. The hotel's culinary direction is overseen by Executive Head Chef Paul Bates, whose career in hospitality spans more than four decades. Bates was named Hotel Chef of the Year in the over-250-covers category at the 2025 Hotel Cateys, recognition that reflects both his culinary experience and his work in managing the demands of a substantial hotel operation. His approach places particular emphasis on making better use of ingredients, reducing unnecessary waste and working with producers closer to London. In a property catering for such a large number of guests, relatively modest changes to food preparation and sourcing can have a considerable cumulative effect. That philosophy extends beyond the hotel's restaurants through its longstanding relationship with The Felix Project, the London charity that redistributes surplus food to organisations supporting people in need. The hotel has helped prepare and distribute tens of thousands of meals through the partnership, combining the efforts of its kitchen team with wider staff involvement. It is an example of how the resources of a large hospitality operation can be used to benefit people beyond those staying at the property. A More Flexible Approach to Family Travel With the West Wing refurbishment nearing completion, Hilton London Metropole is placing greater emphasis on an aspect of hospitality that can sometimes be overlooked in the pursuit of increasingly elaborate hotel experiences: the practical comfort of the people travelling together. For a couple visiting London, a conventional hotel bedroom may be perfectly sufficient. For a family of five, or several generations sharing a holiday, the requirements can be rather different, particularly when children, grandparents and differing daily routines all need to be considered. The introduction of connecting accommodation for up to eight guests recognises those differences without requiring families to compromise on the convenience of a central London hotel. And while the refurbishment will undoubtedly give the West Wing a more contemporary appearance, its lasting appeal may ultimately depend on something rather simpler: allowing families to spend more of their time enjoying London together, rather than negotiating the practicalities of where everyone will sleep. The refurbished West Wing is expected to be completed in November 2026. Further information about Hilton London Metropole, its accommodation and dining facilities can be found at hilton.com. KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) proudly unveils Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, a residential-style all-suite urban retreat featuring 268 generously appointed suites, ranging from 80 to 745 square metres, where the scale, privacy and comforts of a luxury residence meet the legendary service of Waldorf Astoria. Set within Kuala Lumpur's prestigious Golden Triangle district, Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur pairs the brand's legacy of timeless elegance and exceptional experiences with gracious Malaysian hospitality, while establishing a distinguished social destination for dining, gatherings, festive celebrations and milestone occasions. "Waldorf Astoria has long represented the pinnacle of luxury, with a heritage of setting the standard for exceptional hospitality around the world," said Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton. "From Park Avenue in New York to The Bund in Shanghai, the brand is synonymous with legendary addresses that become places to see and be seen. Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur carries that legacy forward in the heart of the Golden Triangle, with an all-suite experience that brings a distinctive residential character to one of Asia's most dynamic cities." "Kuala Lumpur's cultural richness and energy make it a compelling setting for Waldorf Astoria's Malaysian debut," said Dino Michael, senior vice president and category head, Hilton Luxury Brands. "The hotel brings an extraordinary sense of space, artistry and occasion to the capital, with the personal service that turns a remarkable setting into a memorable stay. It reflects the ambition behind Waldorf Astoria's global expansion: hotels that contribute to the social life of their cities and become places guests form a lasting attachment to." A Living Legacy Reimagined for Modern Kuala Lumpur Each Waldorf Astoria has an iconic clock that celebrates the brand's heritage and serves as a natural meeting place for guests, inspiring the enduring invitation to "Meet Me at the Clock". In Kuala Lumpur, the sculptural timepiece takes inspiration from the geometry of the historic Islamic astrolabes from the collection of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia. Crafted in bronze and illuminated glass with subtle Art Deco influences, it uses light to trace the passing hours, creating a distinctly local expression of one of Waldorf Astoria's most celebrated traditions. Positioned at the entrance of Peacock Alley, the clock is a focal point of Waldorf Astoria's signature social space, a place to see and be seen. In Kuala Lumpur, Peacock Alley pairs soaring proportions and stone-clad columns with Songket-inspired textiles to create an elegant social setting that evolves from a relaxed daytime lounge into a sophisticated evening destination. This dialogue between heritage and modernity continues throughout the hotel's art collection, curated in collaboration with the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia. From a monumental 19th-century painting of Qajar princes in the Grand Lobby to works by celebrated Malaysian artists across the property, the collection connects the hotel's global legacy with the artistic character and cultural creativity of Kuala Lumpur. Refined All-Suite Living Each of the 268 suites at Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur embodies a refined fusion of contemporary sophistication and Malaysian craftsmanship. Visionary design firm Deboss Collective incorporates natural stone, warm timber, woven textiles and handcrafted finishes to create a calm, tactile atmosphere. Bespoke joinery and details have been inspired by traditional Malay marquetry, offering a subtle nod to the country's design heritage. Ranging from expansive 80-square-metre one-bedroom suites to the 745-square-metre Waldorf Astoria Suite, the accommodations feature thoughtfully planned spaces for living and rest, complemented by floor-to-ceiling views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. Designed with longer stays and multigenerational journeys in mind, the expansive all-suite concept offers a haven within the city, providing a sense of calm for guests to spend meaningful time together while retaining a sense of privacy and residential comfort. A Curated Destination for Dining, Wellness and Celebration Culinary Distinction: Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur presents a collection of distinctive dining concepts shaped by international culinary talent. Collaborations with acclaimed chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten anchor a diverse culinary offering, spanning from day-to-night dining, destination restaurants and intimate social spaces. Guests can begin the day with an extensive breakfast selection at The Istana, enjoy refined Indian cuisine shaped by Garima Arora's distinctive approach at Yaari, or experience Jean-Georges Vongerichten's signature market-to-table concepts at JG KL, abc kitchens KL, and The Bar by JG. Complementing these venues are refined lounges and social spaces designed for afternoon tea, cocktails and relaxed evening gatherings, with each setting presenting its own character, menu and sense of occasion. Restorative Wellness: Spanning 2,275 square metres across two floors, Waldorf Astoria Spa is envisioned as one of Malaysia's most extensive luxury wellness destinations. Guided by The Science of Recovery and The Art of Longevity, its holistic approach combines personalised La Prairie treatments with an evolving Masters in Residence programme, supporting both immediate restoration and long-term vitality. Through private consultations, workshops and immersive experiences with internationally recognized experts in osteopathy, fitness, nutrition, yoga, Pilates, Traditional Chinese Medicine and facial reflexology, guests and members will have exclusive access to specialist expertise throughout the year. This philosophy extends into every suite, where a yoga mat and Digital Detox Card encourage mindful movement and moments of disconnection in complete privacy. An in-suite wellness kit will include resistance bands, massage balls and a mini foam roller, with weights available for use. The Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur Ritual, exclusively curated for property guests by La Prairie, combines guided breathwork, intuitive massage and warmed gemstones to release tension, restore balance and promote deep relaxation while The Wellness Private Bar will offer face and eye masks, with a TheraFace LED mask available upon request.
