About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager – Food, Packaging and Plastics Industries with experience in food processing, packaging or equipment sales to help grow our Light Industry business.

What matters is that you understand equipment, understand the food and packaging environment, and know how to sell.

You will work directly with food and beverage manufacturers, processors and packaging operations to identify opportunities, develop solutions and build long-term customer relationships.

Beyond direct sales, you will also identify and develop resellers, OEM’s distributors and agents who can extend our reach and create new sales channels.

You will:

Develop new business across food and beverage processing, packaging, and plastics industries
Identify opportunities within customer operations and convert them into equipment sales
Build a strong pipeline while developing and growing key customer accounts
Develop relationships with food manufacturers, processors, packers and other end users
Identify, appoint and grow resellers, distributors and channel partners
Grow regional market coverage and identify new applications for the broader Eriez product portfolio

Requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who combines technical credibility with genuine sales drive.

Ideally, you will have:

Proven sales, business development or account management experience within food processing, food & beverage packaging, automation or equipment
Experience selling packaging machinery, processing equipment, automation, or related industrial equipment
An established network and relationships within food, beverage, packaging or processing markets
The ability to understand a customer's production process, identify problems and uncover equipment opportunities
A proven ability to develop new business while managing and growing existing accounts
The commercial capability to identify and develop resellers, distributors and new sales channels

The APL-52, APL-70, and APL-100 expand the line's lifting capacity to 10,000 lbs. and support the handling of larger steel plates, cut parts, and fabricated components in plasma cutting, laser cutting, waterjet cutting, and other material handling environments.
