Erickson Senior Living's Health Plan earns top national ranking for sixth consecutive year.

Erickson Senior Living's Health Plan earns top national ranking for sixth consecutive year. Last Updated: September 18, 2026 CMS designates Erickson Advantage(R) a 5-Star Medicare Advantage Health Plan, Medicare's highest rating, six years in a row Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in the development and management of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), is proud to announce that its health plan, Erickson Advantage, has been awarded a 5-out-of-5-star overall rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the sixth year in a row. This achievement marks the current longest consecutive year streak of top ratings. Each year, CMS measures the performance of health plans using a scale known as the Star Rating System. The CMS Star Ratings system is a comprehensive evaluation of health and care plans based on information gathered from member satisfaction surveys, plans, and healthcare providers. A 5-star rating is the highest possible score, signifying exceptional performance in key areas such as care quality, and customer service. According to CMS, "The Star Ratings system helps people with Medicare compare the quality of Medicare health and drug plans being offered so they are empowered to make the best health care decisions for themselves." Erickson Advantage is designed exclusively for residents of continuing care retirement communities managed by Erickson Senior Living. The CMS 5-star rating reflects the quality care and top-rated customer service that Erickson Advantage members have come to expect. Only 18 of the 517 Medicare Advantage health plans have achieved the CMS 5-star standards for quality, member satisfaction, and customer service for the 2026 plan year, placing Erickson Advantage in the top 3.5%. Of the nine plans that earned five stars last year, Erickson Advantage is one of only four plans to receive the highest rating again this year. "Earning a 5-star rating from CMS for the sixth year in a row is an incredible honor and a reflection of our team's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care and service," said Dr. Matthew Narrett, chief medical officer at Erickson Senior Living. "This rating is so much more than a number. It is proof that we are raising the bar and transforming healthcare through exceptional member experiences, delivered one interaction at time, rooted in the highest standards of care and service." "I have been an Erickson Advantage member for many years. The best part of my experience is the people. The Erickson Advantage team knows me by name and resolves all of my concerns not only quickly, but also professionally. Having a team that knows you makes all the difference. I feel confident knowing that I have such an important resource at my fingertips," said Rosanna D., an Erickson Advantage member. The Part C 5-star rating is the highest quality rating a Medicare health plan can achieve, evaluated across five categories: * Staying healthy * Managing chronic conditions * Responsiveness and care ratings * Complaints and appeals * Health plan customer service The Part D 5-star rating is the top rating for Medicare drug plans, reflecting excellence in managing pharmacy services, including: * Drug plan customer service * Member complaints * Member experience * Drug pricing and patient safety Erickson Advantage Medicare Advantage health plans are offered through UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company and are only available to residents of Erickson Senior Living's national network of managed continuing care retirement communities. Plans are insured by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company or one of its affiliated companies, a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in the plan depends on the plan's contract renewal with Medicare. Every year, Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system. This 5-out-of-5 star rating applies to Contract Number H5652 for the years 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
