Shark just launched its latest 2-in-1 robot vac that could put its current best budget pick on notice. Published 10 hours ago Shark's new 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop won't cut any corners Shark is well-versed in making robot vacuums. Its even made one of the best robot vacuums Tomsguide has ever tested, the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal. But, that doesn't mean it's resting on its laurels. While you may have already heard of the Shark Navigator, an existing range with both an upright vacuum and robot vacuum in its collection, it's Shark's latest release that takes the Navigator to the next level. The newest product in the lineup is the Shark Navigator 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop. Yes, it's a mouthful, but it's also a declaration of exactly what this new robot vacuum is capable of, cleaning up household messes left, right and center. Latest Videos FromTom's Guide IPHONE 18 PRO MAX HANDS ON And while the US government is considering bans on almost all robot vacuums, SharkNinja was happy to tell Tomsguide at the time: "Regarding future models, we are evaluating our best options, but as a U.S.-based company we believe we are well positioned to navigate the process to continue to launch new models at competitive prices as we always have." And it turns out, they were right. Here's what's pretty cool about its newest model. The Shark Navigator 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop aims to make cleaning up your home as easy and smooth as possible. With a simple setup, it'll vacuum, mop and even clean itself up when its done, thanks to a self-empty, bagless base. But, what's most impressive about the Shark Navigator is what the name suggests, its onboard navigational tech, meaning it can make its way around your home like never before. Meet the new Shark Navigator. Of course, you want to know how well the Shark Navigator 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop cleans, but before I get to that, I think it's important to talk about how it makes its way around your home. It's a hard task for any robot vacuum to navigate the changing landscapes, tangled up wires, sudden corners and the day-to-day mess across your home. But, the Shark Navigator is capable of cleaning after just one click, which means you can use it pretty much straight out of the box. How? Well, it uses 360-degree LiDAR mapping alongside Shark's very own SmartPath Max Navigation to guide methodically, row by row across your home. You can even check out the maps on the SharkClean app, setting no-go zones and scheduling cleans without having to lift a finger. Okay, one finger, to press the app. Tom's Guide: Direct to Your Inbox
Code and Theory honored by Fast Company's Innovation by Design for four consecutive years. September 15, 2026 9:09 AM Gift Article Accolades include being named to the Design Company of the Year list and receiving the Enduring Impact award for companies with 15-plus years of success. NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 15, 2026 / Code and Theory has received the dual honor of being named a Fast Company Design Company of the Year and selected for its "Enduring Impact" award, which recognizes the best design among companies with 15-plus years in business. The accolades mark the agency's fourth consecutive year in which Code and Theory has been selected for Fast Company's Innovation by Design Awards. Technology has made it easier to make things, but most businesses find it harder to make things that matter. It's a gap that keeps growing and one that Code and Theory is uniquely built to close. For 25 years, the agency has brought creativity and technology together through a differentiated balance of 50% creatives and 50% engineers. Code and Theory has evolved that model into a digital transformation engine built to handle disruption, combining human creativity, forward-deployed expertise and agentic solutions to drive tangible business outcomes. Over the past year, that work has delivered measurable results across industries: * TIME: Transformed the legacy publisher into a modern, AI-powered platform, increasing digital revenue by 159% year over year. * Stanley Black & Decker: Created one design system for more than 30 brands across 55 markets, helping increase e-commerce conversion by 40%. * JBL: Created the industry's first AI-native discovery system, built for the way search works now, growing AI-driven referrals by 2,434% year over year. * T. Rowe Price: Unified 47 fragmented sites on a single system, saving 100,000 team hours and $15M in avoided costs. * NFL: Reinvented NFL.com to help fans find what they want faster, increasing NFL+ discovery by 104% year over year and tripling acquisition. The 2026 awards also recognize work from across the Code and Theory Network. Instrument and ŌURA have been named in the UX Design category for Instrument's reimagining of the ŌURA app experience. Instrument's Playspace, an open, living archive of experiments, tools and interactive sketches, has also been honored in the Experimental and Conceptual Design category. The platform gives teams a place to test ideas, build prototypes and turn emerging technologies into tangible, usable experiences. This recognition builds on a broader history of Fast Company honors for the Code and Theory Network. In 2025, Code and Theory was named to Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies list in the Design and Teamwork categories, while Instrument was named to Fast Company's list of Best Workplaces for Innovators. Code and Theory's previous Innovation by Design honors include three distinctions for NBC's Big Board, the NFL app and Design Company of the Year (2025). This year, Code and Theory was honored alongside Google, Canva, SharkNinja and Design Bridge and Partners in the Design Agency of the Year category as well as Adobe, L'Oreal and CVS Health in the Enduring Impact category. Dan Gardner, founder of Code and Theory, says: "It's a crazy moment to be able to be creative and use technology to design what's never come before. Our teams are more excited about the future than ever because moments like this don't come around very often. As we head into our 25th anniversary, I can say that being recognized for the work we're doing at a time like this is a real honor for our clients and all of the great talent at Code and Theory." Brendan Vaughan, Editor-in-Chief at Fast Company, says: "The Innovation by Design Awards have always recognized the ideas that challenge convention and show what's possible when design is treated as a strategic force, not an afterthought. Congratulations to this year's honorees, who demonstrate how thoughtful design can solve meaningful problems and create new possibilities for people and businesses." Ninja takes on Caraway with cheaper, 'more durable' ceramic cookware. Ninja's NeverQuit Cookware is available for purchase now. Corin Cesaric-Epple is an Editor at CNET covering home and kitchen tech and meal kits, and reporting regularly on artificial intelligence... Read full bio September 10, 2026, 5:21 pm ET One thing about Ninja, the company is going to keep its customer base happy with new release after new release. On the heels of launching its first water filter, the HydraSense, Ninja's first-ever ceramic-coated cookware is now available, too. The cookware is dishwasher-safe and oven-safe up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. The pieces are stackable for easy storage, and the handles on the lids can be pushed down to save even more space. Ninja says the ceramic cookware is twice as durable as competitor Caraway, but the company didn't share what type of testing, if any, was conducted to support that claim. CNET also haven't gotten its hands on the Ninja NeverQuit lineup yet to independently test its durability or do a side-by-side comparison with Caraway or other ceramic cookware. However, Ninja's new cookware is more affordable than Caraway. The NeverQuit three-piece frying pan set is $250 while Caraway's three frying pans with lids set is currently available for $395. Ceramic-coated cookware is often favored because it's nonstick, easy to clean and can be made without chemicals typically used in non-stick cookware, such as PTFE (Teflon). Ninja says the NeverQuit coating is "designed without lead, cadmium, PFAS, PFOA, PTFE or hard anodization." It is available in a three-, six- or 12-piece set. The 12-piece set includes 8-inch and 10.25-inch frying pans, a 4-quart pan with lid, a steamer basket, a spatula, a pasta ladle, a 6-quart stock pot with lid, a 6-quart metal strainer basket and a spoon rest. Ninja also teased an upcoming stainless-steel cookware line named "Ninja Eversear," but hasn't announced a launch date just yet. Ninja backs new NeverQuit Cookware with 3-year ceramic coating guarantee. SharkNinja has launched Ninja NeverQuit collection of non-stick, ceramic-coated cookware. SharkNinja said the new NeverQuit aluminum cookware is backed by a three-year ceramic coating guarantee for durability and performance. The cookware is made without lead, cadmium, PTFE, PFOA and PFAS, according to SharkNinja. Metal utensil-safe and oven-safe up to 550°F, according to SharkNinja, the cookware features the company's NeverChip System with LayFlat lids and nesting guides to help protect pieces when stored. "Consumers love what ceramic cookware offers, but they shouldn't have to accept that its performance comes with an expiration date," said Kait Hebert, global Chief marketing officer at SharkNinja. "Too much ceramic cookware is made to look good at first but underperforms over time. Ninja NeverQuit is our answer: ceramic cookware that's durable, long lasting and built to show up and show off from month one to year one and beyond."
