- Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash, credit card, and digital payments.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
- Prepare beverages and other simple café items as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, dining area, and beverage station.
- Restock front counter supplies, beverages, condiments, and packaged items throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and balancing the cash drawer.
- Support other café operations as needed during busy periods.
- Previous cashier or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly and welcoming personality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Dependable and flexible with scheduling.
- Appreciation for serving a diverse community in a faith-based environment.
