Requirements
  • A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is required.
  • Five years of experience in an acute care setting is required.
  • Employees must meet the employer's vaccination or approved exemption requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, as well as the annual influenza vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a collaborative nursing team.
  • Record and evaluate staffing patterns for all inpatient nursing units each shift.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement programs and services.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the need for immediate intervention in family crisis situations and for Medical Social Work involvement when available.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
