About the job
- At least 1 year of MRI experience.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or MRI school.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists International, or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Interview and screen patients before MRI procedures to identify safety concerns and contraindications.
- Perform MRI procedures according to protocols established by radiologists.
- Begin studies and transfer images.
- Document patient history and complete studies in EPIC, the electronic medical record system, and the Picture Archiving and Communication System.
- Cardiac experience.
- Pediatric experience.
