Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiology.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide service excellence and patient-focused care.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use critical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers, and other community members.

  • Understanding of and commitment to comprehensive staff, patient, and environmental safety programs and practices, including participation in regular safety in-service education.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary, family-centered care environment.
  • Perform the complete range of tests and procedures related to general radiography.
  • Manage patient information registry and prepare reports.
  • Maintain equipment and perform other relevant duties.
  • Work across all three hospital locations.
  • Be willing to train in full-line computed tomography and successfully complete the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists computed tomography certification.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience scanning computed tomography head and renal colic cases.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Completion of or enrollment in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists computed tomography certification course.
  • Training in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Completion of an intravenous certificate course.
  • Ability to speak another language.
