Requirements
  • Prior wholesale mortgage account executive experience, with an existing book of broker relationships preferred.
  • Strong phone-based sales skills and comfort with high-volume, disciplined daily outbound calling.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management systems and third-party origination portal file submission workflows.
  • Solid understanding of mortgage underwriting guidelines across the full product suite, including agency, Non-Qualified Mortgage, and government products, with strong Non-Qualified Mortgage knowledge and the ability to teach it to others.
  • A track record of hitting or exceeding funded-volume goals in a wholesale or broker-facing role.
  • Ability to stay self-motivated and organized while being measured against activity metrics and monthly funding targets.
Responsibilities
  • Call and reactivate a pipeline of deactivated or dormant broker accounts assigned by management, converting them back into active funding partners.
  • Meet daily outbound call and contact activity requirements to maintain consistent pipeline coverage and broker engagement.
  • Log every call, contact, and account update in the customer relationship management system daily to keep pipeline data accurate and enable effective follow-up.
  • Bring and cultivate personal broker relationships, expanding the territory beyond the assigned reactivation list.
  • Increase monthly funded volume on a defined growth curve, reaching $5 million in fundings per month by month six.
  • Sell the full range of company products, with a primary focus on growing Non-Qualified Mortgage production to reach 50% of total company monthly volume.
  • Learn, teach, and clearly explain underwriting guidelines and loan-program requirements to brokers and their processing staff.
  • Guide brokers through file submission, status tracking, and issue resolution using the third-party origination portal.
  • Partner with underwriting, processing, and operations teams to move broker files through the pipeline efficiently.
  • Review call activity, customer relationship management data, and volume progress against ramp targets during regular check-ins with management.
  • Stay current on guideline changes, pricing, and competitive positioning to effectively sell programs to brokers.
