Marloo is an AI assistant for financial advisers that automates administrative and compliance tasks, letting advisers focus on clients. It works by connecting to meetings and communications (Teams, phone, voice notes) and client files to draft meeting notes, turn decisions into tasks, autofill forms, generate bespoke advice documents in the adviser’s voice, and manage follow-ups. It emphasizes encryption and regional data handling to fit regulated firms. Its advantage over competitors comes from acting as a central operating system for advisory firms, handling end-to-end processes from first meeting to final document across multiple channels. Its goal is to expand internationally (UK, Australia, US) and deepen the product so it becomes the primary operating system for advisory firms.

New AI, life company pricing partnership. September 8, 2026 In a first for the life insurance market across the ditch, Australian life insurance platform, NEOS and adviser productivity platform, Marloo, have announced a partnership that will give financial advisers in Australia access to pricing across the three products on the NEOS Platform directly within Marloo. The insurer says the partnership combines "...Marloo's AI-driven adviser workflow technology with NEOS's award-winning platform and expertise to help advisers assess client protection needs faster and easier. "This means advisers using Marloo can now access indicative pricing and projections for NEOS Protection, Encompass Protection and Futura Protection as part of their existing advice workflows effortlessly and helping them deliver more informed client conversations." NEOS says the integration has been designed to support Australian advisers by providing quick access to insurance quotes and product insights during the financial advice process. "The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving adviser productivity through practical applications of artificial intelligence and making life insurance easy through modern technology," it says. NEOS Managing Director John de Zwart says the partnership represents another step forward in leveraging technology to improve access to quality advice and insurance outcomes. ...technology should make life easier for advisers... "At NEOS, RiskinfoNZ has always believed technology should make life easier for advisers and ultimately help more Australians access quality insurance solutions. "By integrating our NEOS Platform pricing capabilities into Marloo's platform, we're giving advisers the ability to compare a range of... retail advice products and provide advisers with a faster and more seamless way to explore insurance options within the tools they already use everyday," he says. Marloo's Founder, Shakeel Lala says the company's mission "... is to be the AI partner for advice businesses, helping advisers spend less time on administration and more time delivering value to clients. "Partnering with NEOS enables us to bring high-quality insurance insights directly into adviser workflows, helping practices become more efficient while maintaining high standards of advice," he says. The integration is now available to Australian advisers using the Marloo platform.
Marloo, an AI startup helping financial advisers manage client portfolios, is growing at 37% monthly revenue growth since its inception 15 months ago. The company has onboarded more than 900 paying advisory firms across eight countries and is expanding into the US. Founded by veterans of retail investment platforms Sharesies and Lightyear, Marloo raised $13 million across two funding rounds just six months apart — $3 million pre-seed and $10 million seed. The platform uses AI to help advisers quickly identify which clients are affected by market changes, such as interest rate moves, reducing manual portfolio analysis. The founders say AI enables advisers to spend less time on paperwork and more time providing personalised advice to clients navigating complex financial decisions around retirement, family planning, and home ownership.
Marloo, an AI platform for financial advisers, has raised $10 million in seed funding led by Blackbird Ventures, with participation from Icehouse Ventures. The round brings total funding to $12.7 million in 12 months. Founded by Hardy Michel, Marloo has onboarded over 650 paying firms across six countries since launching a year ago, with revenue growing 40% monthly. The platform automates compliance, suitability reporting and client management workflows. Michel said Marloo spent six months embedded with adviser firms before development, aiming to create software advisers "genuinely love using" rather than compliance-driven tools. Around a third of staff are former financial advisers, embedding practitioner expertise into product development. The company has negotiated zero data retention agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic to address adviser concerns around compliance and data security.
Marloo has raised seed funding to expand its AI platform for financial advisers, supporting international growth and further development of tools that automate administrative work and enhance client-focused advisory services.
Marloo announced its Seed round led by Blackbird, following an 18-month journey since Blackbird's Pre-Seed investment in April 2024. Initially a shell entity, Marloo, founded by Hardy Michel and Shakeel Lala, has grown 45% month-on-month with customers in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Blackbird's investment philosophy focuses on backing founders early, even pre-idea, emphasizing the importance of the founding team's potential over the initial concept.
