Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience driving alignment on scope, schedule, and resource commitments across large, matrixed organizations, ideally in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, PIPL, and CCPA.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Privacy Legal and cross-functional leadership to align and maintain tight scope control, timelines, and critical path dependencies; surface ambiguity and facilitate timely resolution of scope, requirements, and compliance decisions.
  • Integrate business needs with future systems architecture, operational model design, and organizational change management.
  • Translate regulatory and legal requirements into clear, actionable business, system, and process requirements for engineering and functional teams.
  • Maintain program controls and dependencies, escalate risks, and step into critical delivery needs to ensure continuity and on-time execution while keeping compliance decisions with Privacy Legal.
  • Drive alignment across teams on scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and critical compliance milestones.

  • Ability to operate independently with conviction, influence without authority, and drive cross-functional teams to decisions with speed and precision.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, PIPL, and CCPA, along with their operational and systems implications for compliance and translation into system and process requirements.
  • Ability to keep scope, timeline, and dependencies on track while ensuring compliance decisions are made by the Legal/Privacy team.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and executive presentation communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complexity for senior leadership audiences.
  • A master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.

Apple discloses $14.7B EU tax payment in Ireland following court ruling

Apple has disclosed its profits and tax payments across individual EU countries for the first time under new transparency rules. The tech giant reported $17.1 billion in income tax paid in Ireland for the financial year ending September 2025, reflecting funds released from an escrow account following a European Court of Justice ruling. In September 2024, Apple lost a legal battle with the European Commission over Irish tax advantages, resulting in a €13 billion ($15.2 billion) back taxes order plus interest. In Germany, Apple recorded pre-tax profit of around $209 million and paid $153.5 million in income tax. Its German operations generated $2.72 billion in revenue and employed 4,089 people. Under EU rules, multinational companies with global annual revenue exceeding €750 million must publicly disclose income tax information for individual countries.

Meta releases open-source AI models while Apple tests Chinese memory chips to tackle supply crunch

Apple books $6M profit per Irish employee vs. $51K in Germany

Apple paid Ireland $17 billion in taxes last year, representing 40% of its $43 billion worldwide corporate income tax bill, according to the Financial Times. Apple lays off 60 Vision Pro staff, shifts focus to smart glasses as Ternus prepares for CEO role

The cuts affected workers across Apple's Vision Group and other VR-related positions, signalling a pullback from the Vision Pro headset.
