Endra.ai provides a cloud-native platform that automates the design and documentation of fire alarm systems for logistics and construction projects. It accepts 3D models and CAD files (IFC and common formats) and outputs complete documentation packages, handling tasks like cabling, naming conventions, and battery calculations to support regulatory compliance in the EU, US, and UK. The product works by letting users upload model files to the platform, which then generates documentation automatically and tracks version changes to keep teams aligned. Endra differentiates itself through its end-to-end automation in a cloud-based environment with region-specific compliance workflows and shared, up-to-date documentation, reducing the need for extensive training. Its goal is to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and ensure accurate, compliant fire alarm documentation with ongoing beta testing in key markets, delivered via a subscription model.

Endra opens US and UK offices with $50M to solve MEP engineering bottleneck in construction

Stockholm-based AI company Endra has expanded into the US and UK, opening offices in New York, San Francisco, and London. The expansion follows a $50 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz earlier this year. Endra's platform automates MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) engineering design for buildings. The system integrates with BIM tools like Revit and can complete electrical designs for large commercial buildings in under a day—work that traditionally takes two months. The company targets engineering consultancies facing capacity constraints and engineer shortages as demand grows for data centres and net-zero infrastructure. Co-founder Anton Juric is leading US market expansion, whilst the London office serves European and Middle Eastern customers. Endra plans to grow to 100 employees globally over the next 12 months and will unveil its electrical module at an event in Las Vegas this September.
