Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18–25 years old.
  • Applicants must have completed at least Grade 9.
  • Applicants must be able to work shifts.
  • Restaurant-service experience is an advantage, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Scoop and serve ice cream attractively and to Swensen's operating standards.
  • Maintain the ice cream storage cabinet and check its temperature against standards.
  • Check ice cream quality and temperature using a thermometer.
  • Keep work equipment clean, hygienic, and ready for use.
  • Keep the work area clean and free of foreign objects and insects.
  • Use ice cream containers correctly and portion ice cream according to product-manual standards.
  • Maintain beverage quality and sufficient stock throughout sales periods.
  • Arrange ice cream according to the flavor plan and ice cream cakes according to the display-case plan.
  • Take orders and prepare products to standard for dine-in and takeaway customers.
  • Coordinate with ice cream decorators and cashiers to ensure customers receive products to standard.
  • Maintain personal clothing, cleanliness, and hygiene according to company standards.
  • Maintain the restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene according to company standards.
  • Follow organizational safety standards and rules.
  • Follow company discipline and instructions from the shift supervisor.
  • Complete other duties assigned by the shift manager and tasks listed on the daily work schedule.
